Since 2003 i was using the same dark basic pro version. It worked fine, no bugs.
Now, 2010, i decided to use the free dark basic pro version.
I spent many days making a fps game and i encountered these bugs (photo) over and over and over.

Sometimes the solution to the bugs was to press F5 again, sometimes to open the task manager and kill the compiled exe because it had no window, sometimes i had to create a new project and to recompile the source.

Am I ignoring something about this version?

I don't think anyone can say anything from that tiny piece of screenshot

plz post all your code, this may not be caused by "endif" being in black color
when i compile my code i get these color "misunderstandings" too but program works fine

"undefined parser error" is returned for me often when i forget to exit executable and try to compile again, but your problem seems to be different
