Here's little unfinished (but working) piece of code I've done to help people who would like to make an elliptical new*value clone,
By using the ellipse_radius(a#,b#,angle#,rotation#) with newXYZvalue...

Currently coding: 3d-2d latitude/longitude
Recent coding: elliptical orbits

Not bad But as you say unfinished.

You got me playing around with this idea for the best part of 2 hours This is the best I have so far.

Did a little fine tuning, bit more efficient.

I can get a rotated ellipse drawn with 360 sides in about 1/50th of a second, which isn't too bad on my humble AMD 650.
