I have this weird thing lately, decided the other day that after i finish MC (Marbsticle Course) i will move on to C++. But, at that exact time i couldnt stop looking at c++ code examples and tutorials, and now, any time i try to get some work done in MC, i just get a strange feeling about coding in DBPro, and exit out and go back to the tutorials. I feel as if either ill have to continually push back my deadline for MC, currently February. If i cant do that, ill need to hand MC over to someone else to finish the project, because i have promised people in the Fancy Hello World Contest that i'd give the winner a free copy of MC Ultra, and their own free custom course to go along with it. So, if anyone has a cure to this strange thing so i can work on MC or would be willing to take over MC, please tell me and if it's the latter ill give it some good thought... Thanks!

Help is appreciated!!!

Today I realized that you can lock a locked lock in a locker with a lock that is locked.

It's obviously a lack of punishment towards yourself. You keep letting yourself get distracted, which is making it impossible to finish your task. You need to keep your eye on the ball and you will hit it.

Don't worry about C++, you've got time to learn how to code in it. Right now, just use DBP, make these games and that way you'll get some of the logic of programming down and it will make the move to C++ much easier.

Destrugter is right, you need to learn logic first, and the best way to do that is DBP.

The problem your facing is called Procrastination, and its common for programmers.

I think it's procrastination mixed with you thinking this is something other than procrastination when it really is just procrastination.

That or brain slugs.

Thanks guys, that is exactly what it is! I do procrastinate in programming, and a lot too. Truth be told, MC is only 300 lines so far... Yah, ive actually known one other language and made a really cool game in it (the language is Phrogram, check it out), but i have yet to complete a large project myself, i really dont want someone else to finish a large program i started and said id finish. I think i just need to get myself to think ill feel better if i finish MC

Thanks!
