So I've been spending a heap of time lately working on the engine for my new game, Malevolence: The Sword of Ahkranox, but doing the whole thing with quickly made 3D and 2D assets so far.
So this evening I decided to take a break from the coding and do some asset creation instead. Being relatively new to keeping involved on these forums, I thought I'd share my latest creations with you all to see what you think (please be nice).
Each model is under 1000 polygons with texture maps being either 1024x1024 or under. Everything you see here was created this afternoon, so it's a bit of a rush job compared to my usual standard!

Short Sword
Long Sword & Shield
Dungeon Ceiling Segment
Dungeon Floor Segment
Dungeon Wall Segment
Dungeon Stairs-Down Segment
Dungeon Wall Segment Varieties
Example of compiled room (from within game engine)

I hope you like! Everything was done in 3ds Max 2010 (my weapon of choice) with all textures being done in Adobe Photoshop CS2.

Reminds me of Diablo 1, the style of graphics, that grainy washed out look, with the '95 render quality. That's a good thing in my opinion. Keep it up.

Hahaha Diablo was the BOMB. Love that game. So I'll take that as a compliment! lol

At the moment everything's still a bit dark. Got a bit more texturing work to do...
