Hey guys,

So I installed Win7 (after a lot of painful processes), and yet again, I'm confronted with a silly problem... Windows 7 can't connect to any wireless or wirefull connections, it needs an ethernet driver... I've searched the web, but found nothing. Here are the specs of my build:

phenom II X6 1090T CPU @ 3.2 GHz
4x 2 GB DDR3 RAM
nVidia GTX 580 GPU
1000W PSU
ASRock 870 Extreme3 Motherboard
Windows 7 x64 bit

Any help greatly appreciated

Never mind...

The simplest solutions are usually the hardest to solve... The drivers are all on the CD that came with my motherboard.

I was going to suggest that you just download the driver.

Yes, but how can it download it without an ethernet driver? (You need an ethernet driver to connect to the internet)

Our old PC connected to the router/modem via a USB cable since it didn't have an ethernet card.

woh. Wouldn't it still need the right drivers for that though?

Windows 7 has some basic wireless and ethernet drivers integrated so it can easily conect to the internet. Otherwise download drivers from ASRock website.
