I know there's another thread that was like this, but I'm feeling very emotional today, because I beat Twilight Princess for the third time and watched the very sad ending for the third time.

So the question is, (obviously) what are some moments in games that made you sad or emotional?

Here's my list:

Zelda: Twilight Princess


Shadow of the Colossus


Bioshock 1 & 2


Okami

When Alex gets stabbed in Half Life 2 Episode 2 followed by the part where Eli gets taken away by that thing that I can't remember the name of... followed by that it's been ALMOST 3.5 YEARS SINCE A HL2 EPISODE HAS BEEN RELEASED.

You mean Eli gets stabbed and dies, and no one gets taken away. Yeah that part's pretty sad.

Actually, after I posted that I remembered that there is an event like the one you describe, I think it's in EP1 though, but I can't be sure.

Alyx gets stabbed too, by a hunter at the start of EP2. Lots of stabbing in that episode...
