Sounds exciting, but I was wondering if you have permission? I'm not attacking your project, it's just that Doctor Who and especially the Daleks are one of the most highly protected IPs out there. They don't even allow amateur take-offs that are of no consequence to them.

If you've got all that sorted, good luck with it, it should be an interesting project

good luck, and i'll be sure to watch it when you're done
My only comment would be to not change the design of the Daleks (as they have done with the recent Dr Who series - they now look like supped up hot rod fiberglass toy-ish versions).

TGC have to be more wary of IP issues, being a commercial company. For example in the new banner competition, all banners with Nintendo, Star Wars etc references didn't make it to to the final published batch.

Good luck with it, I'll still be following it, my son is a huge Dr Who fan.

And yet the portal one did

"Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me." That's a bit like saying Hey bullies! So yeah, this words thing isn't working, but I'll tell you what will

But - it's Portal! Trying to control the use of portal would be like trying to control the use of lolcats.
