When they called for the day of anger in Egypt , I would honestly say I wasn't expecting people to go out to the streets and face the goverment with such hot ejaculations that asks - directly - President Husny Mubarak to leave ...
I hate the Egyptian system too , But I never thought that people would dare to break the restriction of the goverment on the people , they prevented them over more than 50 years to truly choose what they want .
The Unexpected events is these massive crowds that walked over alot of places cheering against the goverment and the president , They didn't fight with the police at the first of the day . They were actully cheering at them .
But afternoon it got dirty , They blocked Twitter in Egypt , 3 people died in Suiz , They started to use Tear gas bombs , Spray water over the protestors , The protestors gathered in Tahrir square and decided to stay there until mourning , But - as witnesses say - the police used extreme violence to seperate them , they moved away and decided to come back tomorrow ....
That was only in Cairo , It will take Pages to talk about the whole country .
I went for my final exam today , And when I arrived home I found out that they blocked Facebook - Alot of egyptians' and My rich source of informations - , I did some trick and I can explore it now .
They say that police is using extreme violence all through the country towards any gathering , It's really sick also that the Egyptian media channels are not broadcasting or even talking about ANYTHING !! It's like they are living in Europe ( Even Europe had talked about the events ) ...

That's my full vision of it , I looked for some western opinions on The Internet , then I recieved my HUGE disappointment :

1- They hate us ! no , really ... They don't want the revolution to success , They think it's the best this way .
BEST ???? They don't live in my country so they say this and then have fun with their families and go to the sporting clubs . They don't feel what sadness we face everyday at this country , They are sure that we are all terrorists and we need a dictator to hit us over the head ad keep us from harming people . Have nothing to say ...

2- They are making fun from us , they disgrace us like we are animals , one said commenting at the news of blocking Facebook in Egypt :
'' Egypt have internet ? I thought that they have only sands ''

3- Why don't they wish us a better life ? Why such people do all this ? I admit that some commentors defended our situation but they were only 20% of the commentors . Most of the questionnaires on internet sais that fact clearly ( 90% against arabs is the averge )

Finally , maybe this revolution won't achive anything , maybe It will , but one thing is certain :
They proved they are here , And that they are not negatives and ignorant of they country , I hope Dimucracy is achived before the real explosion happenes , Then it will be totally distructive ...

You have to realize when you read stuff, you're only reading someone's opinion. There are people that are going to say bad things because they are ignorant and selfish. You can't stereotype and put an entire country at blame for a few people (yes, some people do that anyway...but you gotta look past that).

People think that Al Qaeda is like every muslim in the world. This is just as incorrect as saying that President Bush or Obama is like every American. You can say the same thing about any country, but the fact is that not everyone is the same. I assure you there are people over here who have no idea what's going on, at the same time there are people that are wishing you guys to be happy and hope everything goes ok. You can count me in on that one.

By applying the statistics you have said of a few group of people to the rest of the west, you are doing the exact same thing you are stating you hate =/

Sorry, but I had to say something. Hopefully this will give you somewhat of a better outlook on it...although it never has done this to anyone before.

I liked the first part of your post, not so much the rest. Unfortunately we aren't allowed to discuss politics here.

I didn't make it puplic , I just said I looked for 'some' western opinions , They were alike the same in 4 different locations , the same percent of defending , and the same percent of attacking .
But I didn't say that every western is like them , I was just viewing what I read .

Ok I don't get this , isn't this an off-topic forum ? We are supposed to be allowed to discuss anything we want unless we are attacking some person or using bad language , and as you see we didn't .

Most threads about politics get locked.

Maybe they were the same but that still doesn't mean that everyone in those countries thinks the same as those people posting about it.

I totally understand you , Destrugter . A lot of people are not racists in the west , I repeat I was just saying what I read .
NEW : Prime minister Ahamed Nazzif Said that they aid the right of protesting , And claims that the goverment didn't withheld or cover any social websites , Which is a mystrey that makes us wonder why Twitter and Facebook didn't work in the few last hours .
