I am planning to use FMOD to use music in an application. I wanted the music to sound more pleasant and spatial by implementing stereo widening. Can anyone explain me how this could be implemented using FMOD?

Stereo widening is one option. You could also try adding some reverb, or a really short plate reverb. That's probably easiest to do in a separate DAW, and then importing into FMOD.
