I got the Lego mindstorms NXT for xmas. I think I know what my next project is now! Design and build a fully automatic assault rifle using the touch sensor as a trigger and the motors as loading and band winding mechanisms. Don't think I have enough lego though!

I'm thinking we might start seeing LEGO bidding for national defense contracts.

... and the band played on.

The guns uses rubber bands. They destroyed that little LEGO house AND went right thru the white paper behind it. Must hurt alot...

The other video is just cool. A robot car creator. To make many different Lego cars, without you lifting a finger.

The rubiks cube....I think that was total bull. I can't belive that it sovled it by itself. The guy must have been doing it by himself the whole time thru a computer. Call me whatever you want, I just cannot belive that.

LEGO(s) are just too cool. It makes me want to get awhole bunch and just build alot of random stuff.

Computer Specs: Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 2.80GHz @ 1066Mhz FSB 3MB Cache, Dual Channel 8192MB DDR2 PC6400 800MHz RAM, XFX Nvidia Geforce 9800 GTX+ 512MB, XFX 780i SLI Motherboard

@4125
The algorithm to solve a rubiks cube is actually quite simple... And you can program lego mindstorms in a C style language. Believe me, the programming is not the hard part, it's designing it!

My brother and I used to make crossbows out of Constructs. With enough rubberbands, you can get a piece to puncture a whole your dad's stereo speakers

Awesome video. On the subject, check this guy out on Youtube. It's amazing what you can do with Lego.

How bout a Lego Antikythera Mechanism?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLPVCJjTNgk

It's hard to imagine someone making this out of legos, considering scientists spent decades trying to recreate the ancient device.

I remember making one of these back when I was younger, it was some weird SMG thing that shot elastic bands. xD

I don't believe the Veyron's braking system is up front under the hood.

Still cool, the convertible roof and spoiler were a nice touch
