Please don't jinx it!

The last 20 times I've read something like this, something bad happened that prevented even the shortest level to become released...

50 levels?

I LOVE FPSC but I seriously doubt it is up to the task of a 50 level game.

Regardless, the screenshots are interesting and I wish you the best of luck with this project.

Thats really great. But unfortunately it only counts as 100 for producing screenshots and animated shorts but zero for actually releasing an FPSC game.

One guy still has the job to convince the engine to play along - and *everything* depends on that

You've been around long enough to have seen all the 'eye-candy heavy' threads that run for over a year just to end with:
Quote: "Sadly FPSC is not capable of running the game as we want it to be. We don't want to put out something mediocre after all the hard work so after long deliberation we are putting the game on halt indefinetly"

Just don't jinx it....

Having a few cg artists wont help when it comes to creating 50 levels of gameplay and it might be asking too much of FPSC, I cant say for sure whether it will handle that much being thrown at it unless its all perfectly optimized.
I love the style of this and really hope you guys pull it off.
I think sometimes your language gets lost in the translation and it causes problems with how you put all this across, some more info on whatever technical difficulties you run into and how you handle these would go a lot further in convincing folks its more than just eye candy that will not actually see a finished product at the end of the day.
I really want to see this working.

Awesome! Its one of those threads.

We have huge army of top CG artists (now about 500 people) but problem is from other side, we need more people from FPSC to handle all these stuff to FPSC...

Love what your doing here with this project and seeing the latest video it reminds me of the old days (best gaming days) of playing i.d's 'Hexen'.
I would very much like to see this project do well.

All the very best of luck.

@lotgd: Thank you

@teabone: Thank you

@ sic1ne:

The animation is done in 3d max. Both characters are riged seperate and merged into the same scene, then animated together.

The portal cloud is the new texture actons for objects.

Got to thank the artists that donated their models, for without them I would have nothing to animate and convert to the game engine.
