A few days ago me and my friend talked about the good old days,of 600mhz processors, motherboard modding and overclocking. We decided to create a project, each of us will be creating our own classic computer.

I will be updating my blog HERE constantly.

Now the point of this thread, what would you like to see in this project? Your comments, flashbacks or ideas are welcome.

Well you aren't going to make technically amazing computers so they'll have to be awesome in another way. Maybe screw it to the ceiling or make an interesting case for it, something to make it special.

I will be polishing it,updating the case to modern standards and add a plexi window on the side,it should be like a history machine.

Maybe you can do one of those cool custom cases in a microwave or something

Wait wait wait... A computer in a chair! Compute-o-Chair! and for added coolness have the monitor attached to a curved rod that come over from the back of the chair

More realistic would be a coffee table or something like that

I got some old socket coolers including a dual fan thermaltake one cant remember the socket but will be putting it all up on ebay soon will try to remember to post in here if I do... got some other old junk lying around too.

My addition to this would be, build a SLOT 1 pentium 2 350 with a voodoo2 gpu running win98

I will buy it off you if satisfactory

I like the idea and have been thinking it myself for a while, sometimes you gotta have the money and time for a project like this, hope I can participate eventually at some point

keep it up!
