I was so shocked to read that one-time Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore had died whilst on holiday in Spain, he was only 58 yrs old

He was one of my all time favourite Rock/Blues guitarists, and was also one of the few to resist the temptations of the Rock 'n Roll lifstyle, he was still fit and healthy, and still actively touring.

This news totally sucks. RIP, for he was a legend. It seems all the good ones go before their time.

Does anybody know yet why he died? News doesn't seem to say anything.

He wasn't my favourite, but he got a lot of talent. Maybe the youngest people doesn't even know who was him.
Gary, keep on playing the guitar, whether in heaven or hell.

He was awesome. I remember I went to see him a few years ago when he came to Glasgow, and he played with such power. He had a way that nobody else could replicate. RIP Gary

I was actually still waiting on going to see him. My Dad and brother went to see him last year (or the year before) and they loved it. I've always considered Gary to be better than Clapton, he certainly had a lot more energy to pull off his great skills.

I'm glad I have at least seen one legend play before his death, Ronnie James Dio and it was mind-blowingly awesome. He only died last year. :/

Better than Clapton? Whoa there buddy..

None the less, it is always sad to see Iconic Celebrities pass away.
Thing is though, you can't say this guy didn't live his life.
