Some folks say the birthday carrot was brought to the forums by a man named Isaac the Great. 7ft tall he was, with arms the size of tree trunks and eyes as cold and dark as the night.

I remember posting the birthday carrot long long ago. I suspect I am not the origin, however.

"Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me." That's a bit like saying Hey bullies! So yeah, this words thing isn't working, but I'll tell you what will

It's not quite as epic as Obese's answer, but:

http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=165421&b=2&msg=1955793#m1955793
I started giving a carrot out on every birthday thread that showed up after that, and I renamed it "the carrot of birthday celebration" shortly after.

Yeah, the little emoticon has been there for a while, but it was never called the birthday carrot before that. I made sure to go through all of the birthday threads that I could find, that came before Zeus's, and none of them had a birthday carrot.

I believe the sacred birthday carrot of heavenly wisdom was first posted by none other than Seppuku Arts himself, the master, the god, of randomness (wow I'm being a suck-up ).

If you don't know what I'm talking about, you should head over to the bacon competition.
