That's not been much of an interest in my Android game here, but maybe this vid will tempt ya a bit more. I'm a few days away from releasing the game onto the market, and have made a promo vid and stuck it on YouTube. Let me know what you think! And anyone with an Android phone, support a fellow indi!!

Edit: Game is now available on the Android market. Search for Space Squadron from your handset, or have a look here:

If I were you I would put an ad in the game or have some way to generate income when it inevitably ends up pirated. You will probably see that 99% of the players are pirating the game, so it doesn't hurt to make a bit of coin off the pirates This is what happened to WordTrix but it was too late for me to fix.

Thanks for the comments guy. Get some 'droid phones!

@Jeku - Yeah, piracy is going to be a problem. Google have now added anti-piracy code which allows people to copy software, but they have to be signed into their Google account to play. It's too late for me to add this to this game. I've also considered Ads, but I've heard the money is rubbish for all but the most popular games. So it's a difficult situation.

I'm looking at this app as a trial app though, and to hopefully establish Hangfire Arcade in the market place somewhat. Then I can concentrate on doing things right for the next apps. We'll see. It's definitely unknown territory for me.

Good luck I'd buy your app if I had an Android phone, but it looks like I'll be using only Nokia phones for the near future

Dudes, you need to go Android. Android is the new "lots of sex with glamour models". Didn't you know?

Thanks for showing interest though. Just gotta hope the market works for me. I had 434 downloads of the free version in one evening which is awesome, but only 3 sales of the paid one. That equates to £1.05 profit. GET IN!!!

It's still early days, but I'm enjoying the ride.
