Hey everyone,

I just wanted to say that I recently released a game and could use your support. I've dropped the price to almost nothing (no more than a trip to McDonald's) in an effort to get people interested (you can't have an online game without people!). I figured if there's any place that will help me get this game (and my business) off the ground it would be the community I developed in. I will also be adding anyone who buys the game during this beta phase to the credits if they want.

This is just a post to make people aware of the offer. If this is against the rules, I apologize to the mods. I've posted a promotional thread like this one here before and it was not removed.

Thanks,
UncleSam

EDIT: Sweet! My game got accepted onto the major site, moddb.com (click the banner below to go to my page):

Thanks. Ah, didn't think of that. Maybe I should consider adding another payment method?

I'll probably think about doing that after it's completely finished. Though it won't be $5 then.

Ah, I thought it was odd that they would put my name right there. Thanks man.

Im sorry Mr Sam... i recieved the email and i dont think i ever got to play... Its a tough business.. the money was still well spent.. take the money i paid and put it toward you next project. Take care and despite everything chalk this one up as a victory. Youve made it farther then 99% of anyone whos ever dreamed of making their own game...

Forgot I posted in here, must have been drunk XD

I signed up for the beta, but never got a chance to play it. It looks good from the screenshots. One of the things I didn't like, was the longsword animation, just didn't look right, too slow.

I wouldn't discontinue this, just get the hype going and continue to work on it and improve it. It might take off like minecraft did, once word spreads.
