Pacman:Adventures in time.

I have some fun memories of that game.
And I remember how hard I thought it was to make pacman move with the arrow keys

Atari System? I remember playing one or two games on it. Bomberman specifically; unless I'm thinking about bomberman for the NES.

Kravenwolf,
Nah, not what I meant, but I had a couple ataris growing up. Actually I had three of them with a couple boxes of games, until my ex-wife decided I didn't need them anymore in '05 during my first deployment.

Quote: "tape drive on my gaming computer "

Yea, maybe that was along the lines of what I remember. I mostly just remember my friends dad letting us play games on something that looked like this:

Apparently it was an addon to one of the variations of the Ataris.. I could have sworn it was some stand alone game thing.. Then again I was probibly around 7 or 8 at the time so who knows what I remember.

If you really mean cassette players then you are probably looking at Sinclairs, C64s, or Amstrads. Remember this one?:-

Although technically the +2 was Sinclair and (spit) Amstrad I believe. Note the nice badge that states it has a massive 128k of memory. Nice...

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

First computer game? Chess on my Dad's old chess playing computer, some time back in the 1970's probably.

First real computer game? Probably Galaxian (similar to Space Invaders) on the Atari 800 in the 1980s.

First PC game? Civilization 2 in the late 1990s. Still play that from time to time - currently losing a scenario that I specifically set up so I couldn't lose. Think I must have made a bad decision somewhere.

Second PC game? One of the Monkey Island series.

I don't even remember. My formative years were in the mid-to-late 90s, so a lot of the first games I played on PC were educational games from the DK company (Dorling Kindersley publishing). I remember one game about this golfer on an island... but I don't remember what the goal was.

My first console game was on the NES; Super Mario Bros.! I played that game through and through so many times that the music is permanently embedded in my head, and I remember the layout of most of the levels (my favorite ones are in Worlds 3 and 6 because they're at NIGHT!). Tetris and Rad Racer were my second choices, while my father preferred Super Sprint. Yesiree, a lot of memories on the ol' NES.

The next console we obtained was a GameCube back in 2008, followed by a Wii in 2009 or '10. On the GameCube the first games I played were Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 and Animal Crossing. I enjoyed both.

The first game on the Wii that I played seriously was, of course, Super Mario Galaxy. That was the game that got me sold on the Wii back in late '05/early '06. I still haven't gotten around to Galaxy 2, though...

First Console: Atlantis: The lost empire for PS1
First PC Game: Atlantis: The lost empire on my Windows 2000
Back then, i was like 4 and I just saw the movie, from then on i was obsessed with anything that had anything to do with Atlantis.
I still have the PC game, won't work on my computer though.

PC Game (above)

Couldn't find a picture for the PS1 version.

First PC game...let me see if I can remember.

The earliest I can remember are tied between a couple. Sim City, Animaniacs, and that Rodent's Revenge game where you're the mouse and you gotta kill the cats with the blocks.

I'm not entire sure which one was first, but I know for sure those are the first 3.

The first game I ever played on a console was Tennis on the Atari 2600. Looks like crap today but I had so much fun playing it when I was 6 or 7. Here is a vid of it.

My 1st PC game would be the original C&C Red Alert.

As far as 1st ever computer game I ever played, it would be Defender on a very old IBM in the early '80s (can't remember the model name or number though, it was a loooong time ago!).

First game I played was the Disney's Aladdin for Super Nintendo. But that was basically the only the game I ever played until the Xbox came out. First game I played for the Xbox was Mad Dash racing and the second... the game that truly led me down the path of the nerd... Halo of course lol.

I wasn't much of a game person even then though. It truly wasn't until Halo 2 Xbox live. Once that happened, I became a First Person Shooter master. Dropped all sports, even baseball (which I somewhat regret now since I was one of, if not the best, pitchers in my league and I am left handed.)

It's whatever though, nothing beats curb stomping people's faces in Gears of War haha.

Janitor Joe (JUMPJOE.EXE) - which sucked horribly, Grand Prix Circuit (GPEGA.EXE) - which looked so 3D and Commander Keen (KEEN.EXE) the first real games.

However, for my favorite pass time I would enter QBASIC.EXE, load GORRILAS.BAS and toy around with variables and stuff like that. (@Jerico2day: internet high five!)

The good days of being 6 years old & having no clue whatever SIN(x) was supposed to add to the game. But then again, all hell broke loose when I changed it to RND(x) so I just left it there.

My gaming record doesn't go back too far, I don't remember what was my first but the first PC game I've enjoyed was definitely Duke Nukem 3D.

Rest in peace Heltor & AAGreen.

lol i remember gorillas... i used to rem out the part that drew the heads on the gorillas. I remember some kid in school who didnt know anything about anything, getting really mad about if for some reason. Even after i tried to tell him that its ok to edit it cause they made source available for that purpose. He just couldnt wrap his mind around that i gues.
