The Host


This was originaly called polaris but i did a complete storyline and name overhaul.

Storyline

In 2007 Viktor Slavak; a space travel scientist opened the first Space Travel and exploration company called 'Nebula space Transport Company' he then went on to launch the first passenger shuttle into space called 'The Polaris space station' Viktor's aging body could not hold on to life any longer so he oredered the workers of the P.S.S to wire him up into the mainframe of the ship, he was then know as 'The Host' before he died, he staged a car accident where by a double was used as viktor, All records of viktors existance were destoryed making viktor a non-existant life form. He then went on to create M.P.D (Multi Purpose Drones) for his ship, they will greet all passengers with care but then they can perform security duty also, when a inspector (you) comes aboard the P.S.S to inspect the entire ship, 'The Host' Paniked thinking his existance in the mainframe would be comprimised and he would have to give up his empire he had built, so he orders all bots to destroy all living life form on the ship, excluding 'The Host' what is on deck 10....

Cool. I like how you used the sci-fi floors as the walls. Looks actually better than you'd think

Metal Devil Thank you for your comment, The walls have been Shaded using V1.18 update (It looks good) also i have just relised there is no light sources on that perticular area, i will amend that now

Also i have decided to make this a series that follows 'The Hosts' Movements and travels to different areas to find the origins and why 'The Host' Wants his empire destroyed. Is there something else to this mysterious 'host'? follow the story to find out!

Patience...

I like the last screen. It could do with some lightmapping though.

The lower class decks screenshot looks like a boring corridor to me. I for one like the way you use that floor texture as a wall.

The last screen is going to be part of the intro video, it is unplayable in the game

Looking good mate

Just a few points to be noted here,

The lights don't seem t have the illumination shader applied to them.

In the screen where we have the spaceship, you might want to add more lights or consider increasing the lightmap quality.

So when do you think we will have a demo?

I have now added the desired shader to the lights, i will add lightmaps in the ship scene, also a demo is not forseable anytime soon as i am aiming for something big,
