Hi,

I'm currently experimenting with my Lego NXT (again ), and have built a - as I call it - "Motion Replicator". My goal is to have the Lego mimic motions of, say, an aircraft on the PC. The rig is done, but how would I go with getting info from a random game?
For example, if I wanted to get roll and pitch info from a tank inside of Battlefield Bad Company 2, what could I use?

Thanks!

Jeff

The only way would be to mimic the behaviour of trainer software, which uses memory registers to cheat by increasing the number of lifes etc. What you would have to do is run a memory change monitor, play the game, rotate the vehicle, then check all the changing registers to find the one that stores the angle. But this register might move about, it might not be initialised every time, it might be part of a dynamic array... any number of things could prevent you from doing this. And it's tricky too, you should really know assembly language first.

Yeah, I thought about that. I imagined maybe Cheat Engine could do this. I'll take a look at that, thanks!

Dont use cheat engine in a popular game that has cheat protection. You will lose your multiplayer account.

No, I won't. I'll only use it in singleplayer. Thanks for the tip, though!
