just got in aswell
i must say "character customization" is crap.
all diff heads = retextures
all different hair = retextures
and same with beard
no actual geometri changes...
edit: played it, and i must say its great! the gameplay atleast.
now the custumization of the character is 0 unless u buy points -> worthless. even BFheroes had some customization.
weapon wise it must say its cool, however 2 guns + 5 assault guns is... okay, not good but okay.
took me a while to understand that u need to specc in grenades to get them.. seems fair, but still, i would like to start of with one and then upgrade, but its fine.
and then u have to specc in some specified veichles to be able to drive them (heli's and various other aircraft) and thats excellent imo.
other than that the whole specc tree seems amazing, as it doesnt make u OP, it simply.. well I get the feeling, my character is improving as a soldier, and not as a stundman.
For example, a skill you can specc in can look like.. your hud now shows where incoming damage is from, second point makes it more visible on the hud aso
that kind of specs. I love the spec system, i really do.
Graphically its mweh, but i get the BF2 /idno if thats the right one\ feeling from it.
and i would rather like seeing myself die in 3rd person(aka die animation) then see the camera go up in a 90 degree angle, which is rather booring.
