I've been eyeing the TORQUE engine the last year.

Has anyone used it? If so, what do you think? Positives? Negatives?

I think I remember some people saying that the support wasn't all that great, but that was a long time ago, things might have improved by now.

Seeing as the price has dropped, I've been looking over it myself recently too.
The only problem I can find is that you have to pay additional licensing fees to port your game to the Xbox, iPhone, iPad etc.

But that's not such a bad thing if you have a game worthy of being ported.

I also have been looking at it once this deal arose. Don't really have the cash at the moment but I am really looking into it. It is an amazing deal.

Wow, nice deal, I remember paying $150 for Torque 1.4, which is now quite dated and I barely used it. Whilst it'd definitely be a tempting purchase, seeing as I didn't do much with TGE 1.4, it might be another waste of money. I didn't find the engine all that easy to code with.

[edit]

I might have another go with it, see how far I get to producing something.

Well, sorry for bumping but i got it yesterday, and as expected, it's relativaly easy, terrific realtime lighting, some of the best graphics in the industry, as long as it is set up correctly, i made a pretty cool scene after experimenting with it for around 10 minutes, a sreenshot of it is attached, i definitely reccomend it for anyone who knows C++, and has a nice computer because this laptop could barely run it, unfortunately.
