Well Rise and Fall Civilizations at war doesn't seem to install right on vista/windows 7

It says I need Exception.dll but my problem is there is an unofficial patch but I got it and it started working but it needs to restart computer because it needs to make library's for the game. But when I do restart windows doesn't boot up and recovers from an earlier date and its because the only file I can get for a patch It has a Trojan and I think that's the prob. Mcafee removes it with no prob but I thinks the Trojan makes my computer crash. I can't play the game so if anyone has the "Exception.dll" from the folder can you please upload it?
