Anyone got it yet? I preordered it for PS3 and so far I'm satisfied.

Multiplayer is like a mix of MAG (favourite game ever), BC:2 and COD and takes the best of all 3.

The M4 (default AR) is an awesome gun which you could use the whole time. Assault rifles can take down enemies at a good distance, even on full auto. SMGs are awesome at close range and LMGs are almost useless. There is 2 snipers, a semi-auto and a bolt action.

Using drones is fun and there is a variety of vehicles which aren't OP.

Single player is pretty fun, up to the last chapter which I'll finish tonight.

If anyone has it on PS3, add TehFuzz and we can party up.

I walked past it today, I didn't know it was out
So I'm probably gonna buy it, I've saved up $800 for Homefront, Brink and some Software.

I'm surprised at your reactions as the game has largely been panned by the critics. I'm a North Korea nut, so I considered purchasing this many times, but I'm really not sure. Is the price worth it simply for the campaign?

According to the video review from IGN, it's not. Apparently it's a good campaign, but the real value is in the multiplayer, the singleplayer campaign is apparently only 5 hours long, so it's probably better to rent it.

I'm considering getting it, but am hesitant because of it's mediocre reviews, and it doesn't seem to add anything that Call of Duty and Bad Company 2 don't have already.

NOT buying it, a game isn't fun on ps3 if it doesn't have splitscreen. What is this? Since when did games not add splitscreen at all. I actually really wanted to get brink aswell but I'm not getting either now

I watched the youtube homepage but sadly it told me nothing about Homefront

A man will one day wear a tophat in glasgow on a sunny day juggeling grapes while humming the jurrasic park theme tune.

I'm glad I only rented it...$60 for 5 hours of gameplay is not worth it. Don't care for the multiplayer, doesn't matter what kind of shooter it is, they get 'un-fun' real quick.

I guess I'm strange, because I prefer 5-7 hour games over pretty much everything else (aside from Fallout 3, which is a rare exception). I play so many games that a standard 20+ hour game will never be completed.

I enjoy the occassional game that doesn't take too long to complete, hence I bought Bulletstorm. Sure it took me a day to complete, it was a pretty good wind down. Probably not worth the £40 though, I figured it might have a good online gameplay, but I was wrong, hence it's being traded in, it also doesn't have enough replay value for me to have another round of single play or do any time trials.

Though I doubt I'll ever end up playing Homefront, it just doesn't appeal to me. From watching the review, it doesn't seem all that good - at least, if it's too in your face about the situation the game sets itself in, I might also find difficulty taking it seriously and I think that can spoil a game. But of course, having not played it, it's difficult to tell.
