Just wondering if anyone here knew of a compiler that I'd be able to store on a flashdrive and use on any computer. I doubt that it's possible to install something like VC++ 2010 Express on a flash drive, due to its dependency on the registry and other system specific things. There's gotta be something out there.

Try MinGW or cygwin. Both should include the GNU g++ compiler (which is a C++ compiler)

Alright, I've installed MinGW, but it doesn't look like it comes with an IDE. Is there anything with an IDE that I could install on a flashdrive? I'm doing stuff with OpenGL 3.x, so it'll need to support that.

Either that or I could pick up on command line programming.

You'll have to install the C++ GNU yourself though.

Thanks, I'll try that. I gave code::blocks a try too. It works fine on my flashdrive so far, but I did have a few linking issues that I haven't solved yet. Maybe I need to use a different compiler, I'm using MinGW and I don't have linking trouble with VC++.

So maybe the geany IDE or a different compiler will fix it.
