it was proboly $1000 when it came out. Kindof depressing. 5 years ago, the 7950GTX was around 1000 bucks and it was dual GPU and had more than 256 mb of memory and was so frigging powerful , i wanted it so bad. and now we have a gtx 590. You spend good money on a top of the line GPU and in a few years its not worth even half

dont hate people who rip you off,cheat and get away with it, learn from them

Probably the people were guessing the price of the card.

Yes it is kind of depressing when you figure out that your thing is no longer at the top. But hey, the gaming life says that you must 'upgrade' every 2.5 to 3 years. I still use my pentium 4 with an xfx 9600Gt 512Mb GPU.
