Kind of a bummer but ive been having this problem: kernel power type 41. On the new machine. I did some google, plus made a report to tech support. All the error means is the machine didnt shut down cleanly for whatever reason (power failure something...) Anyone else here had this problem and what were the causes if they were ever resolved?? I do have tech support on this but i was just curious if anyone else has ever delt with error 41. lol.

If that's the cause of the error, then there's any number of possible culprits. Faulty PSU perhaps, a software issue where it didn't shut down properly. My Dell laptop has a tendency to reboot randomly when it's not being used and plugged in with the AC adapter. Very annoying.

yeah this is kind of annoying to me too... ive seen it all over the internet. This machine was just built for me a month or so ago... so its even more so annoying... im probably going to have to send it back in to be looked over... which is even more of a bummer because its a beast and that means im going to have to use my old machine in the mean time... which isnt nearly as fun lol...

Check Windows event log and see if anything might give us a hint.
This was a prebuilt machine from a manufacturer?
