My friend is going, he won't shut up about it, I must say I'm rather jealous xD The line up as pretty amazing, I'm a massive fan of architects so if I had the money I'd go just for them.

I take it you're going?

I know a bunch that're going, but not going myself. No money.

The lineup's looking sweet, it would've been good to see A7X, saw his last UK tour at last year's Sonisphere.

Best of luck getting one. If you get the chance, I recommend going to see architects, they are brilliant live. Seeing them for the third time later this month.

Just looked at the UK list and I'm freaking jealous. There are only 8 artists announced ATM in Poland...

OT: Probably going to miss Assymetry this time too. Dammit!

I suppose I really ought to go. My mum and sister are going, but I'm more likely to convince friend to go to Bloodstock because they're nearer.

The line-up, I admit is pretty epic, especially with Bill Bailey being there!

I would like to see these again:

Metallica
In Flames
Motorhead
Opeth

Also:
Firewind
Antrax (Who pulled out last minute at Wacken 2009 and were replaced with Napalm Death)
Arch Enemy
Sum 41
One Minute Silence - hells yeah! They split up and their lead singer went to do some spoken word stuff that's pretty awesome, an inspiration of mine actually, he did some stuff with Kate Tempest for his spoken word album 'Zombie God Delicious', who I met when I went to do some storytelling, I really really wanted to do the kind of thing they wanted to do because it was a spoken word event, but I was representing another group of people. So I really, really ought go see them.

Damn, I can't believe I'm letting the Atlantic Ocean stop me from seeing In Flames

I absolutely love In Flames, they were one of the bands that got me into this genre. I find that quite funny because it was their old Melodeath stuff that did it, quite ironic because it took me several years to get accustomed to anything that 'metal'!

that is one hell of a line-up.
It's a shame I don't have the right mental state for these kinds of gigs otherwise I would go.

Get on my level

Last year in my country , the lineup was the following : Metallica, Rammstein, Slayer, Manowar, Megadeth, Anthrax, Alice in Chains, Mastodon, Stone Sour

Shame that a big portion of that lineup won't come here this year.Guess I'll have to pay double to go the UK , but it'll be worth it.

I'm a bit disappointed Manowar won't be performing.

Manowar performing our national anthem lol

Yeah, their Come Clarity album really got me into the metal genre, before that I was listening to bands like Simple Plan . Still don't really like their old albums too much though, primarily Lunar Strain.

Yeah they've transformed their sound quite a bit since Trigger I think. I have all of their albums and I love each and every one of them. Although I must say I prefer their old stuff - but I don't get the people who accuse them of becoming 'mainstream'. Sure, their sound is now more accessible, but it's no reason to hate them - they/re unique in their own way.

If Atreyu were playing - I'd definitely get a ticket.
