hey all,

is it possible to add a splash screen / movie before the game starts in fpscc X10 games? I know there is something called game cover exists. but I don't want to be dependent by work from others
because it would be so nice.

if awnser = no then
msgbox("fpsc X10 is newer why isn't it implemented after all, fpscX9 is older, and it's a really smalthing to add it")

thanks in common

Hm...I don't think it's possible, unfortunately.
Game Cover would be your best option here, as far as I know.

ok thanks for your reaction. but why !!!! it's FPSC X10 the X10 means newer, better. not bad, no updates, and tons of crashes when you add a simple shader. comon. more then 100 people want new updates. even when they are tiny small, but the developers. are at my opinion a bit arrogant. no hard feelings. but when you are making something you need to finish it ! not just let it die for some reason they didn't gave us. but yeah why updating some newer engine if an engine from 2001 would do it pff, I'll just finish my project in X10 and then just use another engine because A newer one wouldn't be upgdated. again no hard feelings.

and if a mod reads this. deep inside you are thinking the same
why not the better one

and you know you can't lock a thread because of an opinion or pure facts
and this ia all just an opinion

While Splashvideos are only possible using FPS Creator, a splashscreen is possible in X10 as well, at least to my knowledge.

To activate the splashscreen, you just have to put a file named "splash.bmp" in the same folder the Executable is.

Seems like some people still believe in everything Microsoft says.
