Hello,

I'm looking for Intel® G965 / GM965, G35, G45/ GM45 Express Chipsets, or Intel® HD Graphics owners for doing some simple testing with the Intel® Graphics Checker and MPL3D Solar System.

If anyone is interested please email to mpl3d @ wanadoo . es
Testers will receive 10$ via paypal, free full licenses for MPL3D simulation, and my eternal gratitude.

So, anyone out there?

Thanks Johnski, that's great

These are the basic steps to follow:

1 - Download and install the Intel® Graphics Checker: http://dc145.4shared.com/download/5iJ_AKv-/iGCheckerSetupENU_2_1.msi

2 - Download and install MPL3D Solar System v1.2: http://dc112.4shared.com/download/160778420/5a5fb3cd/MPL3D_Solar_System_v12_EN-ES.msi

3 - Execute MPL3D Solar System v1.2 (Press 'Start' in the initial menu )

4 - Execute the Intel® Graphics Checker. At step one, enter application name as 'MPL3D Solar System 1.2' and unmark 'Start my application' (It should be already running as indicated in step 3).

From there on, follow the instructions on the screen, if any. I haven't seen anything beyond step one because the intel hardware is needed.

Let MPL3D Solar System v1.2 run for at least 30 seconds, and then email me the generated report. The path of the report file(s) is set at step one, I think it must be a .xml file.

The 30 seconds run may be watching the Earth, as the program starts, or ideally you can press 'R' to start a random travel, just tell me what you did.

Here is a 100% discount code for the simulation, so it never expires. You should enter it through the purchase menu option:

Please confirm that you want the paypal transfer to go to your profile email (johngordon9 @ ymail. com)

I think that's all. Let me know if you have any issue.

If you have DirectX9 properly installed, I guess there should be no problem

You have to run dx9 alongside, incase you weren't aware.

That's true, thanks to Indicium for pointing that out.

DirectX 9 is standalone and it is not included in dx10 or dx11.

If you have problems installing DX9, or you just don't want to install it, then you can put the file 'd3dx9_31.dll' in the MPL3D Solar System folder.
You can download that one here: http://www.4shared.com/file/228012470/54f81eac/d3dx9_31.html

I have an Intel Core i5 2500 processor, I believe it has Intel HD Graphics, right?

I'll follow your instructions and send you an email in a few minutes, I hope you can use it

After looking around, it seems impossible to activate the Intel HD Graphics with a discrete GPU already installed. If you now how I can achieve this I'd be happy to run the test for you , but right now it seems I'm simply not able to anyway

Your CPU doesn't have anything to do with your PC having Intel graphics, that would be up to your motherboard.

I have an Intel chipset on my laptop, downloading now.

The checker won't install for me. It looks like it gets to the end then instead of giving me the option to close the install it looks like I only have the choice to cancel. (My best guess, it wassn't in english)

The Intel Core i5/i7 have graphics built into them AFAIK.

As n008 pointed out, latest CPU cores have in-built a HD Intel Graphics GPU.

Best way to know for sure if you got the required hardware is to try to run the Intel® Graphics Checker (as stated in step one: http://dc145.4shared.com/download/5iJ_AKv-/iGCheckerSetupENU_2_1.msi) if it doesn't complain after the hardware checking, then it works

Yeah, well you could turn off the GPU card in the bios, connect the monitor to the motherboard output, install the intel drivers... I don't really recommend you to mess around just for this, but thanks, I appreciate it all along.

My fault , I updated the link with the english version, so at least you can tell what's hapenning: http://dc145.4shared.com/download/5iJ_AKv-/iGCheckerSetupENU_2_1.msi
According to intel this should run for:
Platforms: Intel® Core™ i3/i5/i7processor with Intel® HD Graphics (desktop/mobile). Microsoft* DirectX* 9 or 10 Application Programming Interface (API)
Operating Systems: Windows* XP Professional SP3 (32-bit), Windows Vista* Ultimate SP2 (32-bit) or Windows 7 Ultimate (32-bit and 64-bit)

Thanks to all, please let me know if anyone finally gets the report, I would pay for it as stated before

Oh and it is ok if anyone wants to grab the mpl3d discount code that appears in the first post, that's what it is for

Alright, please forget about this testing.

I have now available the needed hardware.

Sorry for any inconvenience. If anyone has -already- completed the report, I still will pay those ten bucks, but the offer has expired now.

The mpl3d license code posted above remains valid.

Thanks all for their interest
