Instead of spreading the user base out over 3 different forums, it would be more efficient and create a much tighter community if you just added a Dark Basic Room to this forum. This way you can bring all the DB users together. Then just link this forum to the forum button on the original Dark Basic site.

I mean DBPro is VERY similar to DB and most of the code can be shared anyways.

Its referring to what i think of you, Ill let you work out what it means.

What are u doing here anyway, has your pretty little blitz forum been down for a while?

Why dont u just leave?,I dont want you here nor do other well respected people in this community since you found entertainment in making our jobs harder in RGT by posting crap about what u thought and bascially being an ass about respect for other coders works etc.

No one cares for you mate, u should go back to your regular haunts, You have done your dash here and are not welcome back in my books.

Since im not an admin here I can only refer you to my opinion of you.

You were banned from RGT for reasons that you brought upon yourself and You will be ejected from here if your regular jaded side even makes a peep, your gone...

"Instead of spreading the user base out over 3 different forums"

In my mind there are only 2 forums, here and RGT. DBDN has its own forums I guess but most the users on there post on here too, it's a different kind of community so can't be bought into the equation.

We may well integrate the DB forums here at some point, but it's not too high on the agenda. DBPro is the main focus now and will be treated as such.

Cheers,

Rich
PS - I didn't see any of the trouble you caused on RGT so am disregarding indi's comments for the moment (although I trust him explicitly), but the second this thread turns into a flame war I'll purge it.

I'm working on an RPG with Sgt. Slamy.

Yeah, he's still around... we're both in the same sad boat: Hasn't ordered DBP yet .

I'm still messing with beta 3 every once and a while. But I won't know until I can find out if it can really do some cool stuff that warrants it's purchase.

Any particular reason you're hanging around here? I suppose it's just to talk . You use BB3D at all anymore? I have yet to see a good game completed in BB3D...

Well I don't know what chroma did, and knowing how indi can keep his cool, he must have done some pretty bad stuff BUT chroma has not caused any trouble so far on these forums, so can you PLEASE stop flaming him indi? If something happens and chroma proves to be like you say, then you can say "I told you so", but for now, I don't wanna insult you or anything, but your being kinda babyish. (Keep in mind I don't know what he did, so I guess I shouldn't talk eh?)

>>Chroma. Chroma... wait, didn't you Blitz? I see you're back, no hard feelings, although it was a very sad time to see you go .

Hmmm...we really don't need a BB3D/DBPro flamewar right now so maybe you should back off a bit. Thanks.

Actually, I've seen several very promising Blitz3D games, including one by ex-DB'er Sabata Rh which is finished now... I believe it's called Ringriker, looks very cool.

anyone who posts after me on this and talks about blitz i'll start a flame war to whoever started it

this forum isnt for blitz, it's for darkbasic

if you wanna talk about blitz go on www.rpgcyco.com or www.blitzcoder.com (url?) and post there.

it should be time where we dont post about nlitz now.

I like the RGT forums best.

I think these are OK, but it all feels a bit "unfinished" and there are a few things missing, namely "Preview thread", smilies, Quotes, An easy way to get back to the main page (without Jump menu) and a few more I can't think of right now.

Smilies - there are 69 of them here, that isn't enough?!

Easy way to get to the main page? Click "forum list" for the main menu or "go to top" for the current board menu

Quotes and Preview I agree though, I'll add them in due course.

Cheers,

Rich

This might sounds strange, but I really prefer RGT Forum's interface. As for Chroma, I've actually SEEN and READ some defensive posts for DBP at the blitz community. Thanks Chroma, and welcome back.

"Smilies - there are 69 of them here, that isn't enough?! "

How can you get them? All the little buttons above just give me an IE error.

And also the DB Mail link does not work.

And while I'm on the subject, your post about the CD check was wrong : it is Editor/Editor.exe.

"This might sounds strange, but I really prefer RGT Forum's interface."

It's not strange at all.

Thanks,

David

Hummm,

Select text in area below then click icon above to enhance

Kinda talks for itself.

Don't mess with Rich, or he will chuck you out the forums. These are the best forums i have seen so far. Mainly due to speed. (i will do a speed test against phpBB, YABBSE and APOLLO, i wonder who will come top???)

RingRiker looked very promising from the screenshots, but I was very disappointed with the demo (I hope sabata can do better with RingRiker2).. However, I did try a great Blitz3D game demo the other day called Frozen Empire by uebermatt. Another awesome Blitz game is GTok by Mark Silby (well what did you expect?).

I knew what those buttons did (I think "img" is a bit obvious) I just thought there might be a list of similes somewhere.

"I just thought there might be a list of similes somewhere."

There is: http://www.darkbasicpro.com/apollo/view.php?t=9&b=2 (scroll down the something like my 2nd before last post and click the code tab to see all of them).

"And also the DB Mail link does not work."

Not yet.

"And while I'm on the subject, your post about the CD check was wrong : it is Editor/Editor.exe."

Sorry for crediting some people with a little intelligence to find the file!
