Hello everyone. I've been bored with a tight wallet lately. I'm looking for games that are free and legal. They can be public domain or freeware, I don't care. No listing of any sites that contain illegal material. I was (and still am) a fairly big fan of freeware games, but they're getting harder for me to find on google. I type in freeware games and the results are just...lame. A lot of the games listed are games that I highly doubt can be legally released for free.

Anyway, if anyone knows any links, I would like them. Freeware or public domain!

I've just fell in love with that site you linked. There are games on there I haven't played in over 10 years! Let alone have lost the cd's too.

If you go to indiegames.com and read through the blog, you'll find tons of free games. There must have been hundreds of not thousands linked on there.

Also, if you're willing to spend *some* money, http://savygamer.co.uk/ is a site which lists game sales/deals/price cuts. If you wait around you'll probably come across a game you like for half price or so.

Also, flash games.

Tell me if there's a broken link to images in a thread I post, and I'll fix 'em.

Thanks guys. It seems like the freeware market was a lot bigger when I was younger (around 8 or 9). The information provided so far has helped. Looking for more if anyone else has any.
