This is mine, it's only from the games I know. It's definitely a lot different from all those other lists, because I don't have as many "Classics".

I also haven't played that many games to have a top 10 list, or even a top 5 or 3...
I only have a top 1 that really resonated with me the first time I heard it, and that was "The Ladder" AKA "Homeworld" by Yes from the game "Homeworld" (if you hadn't guessed). It sent me shivers and has remained my favorite (and only) game theme song I care to listen to.

It was at least 5x better with the screens from the credits of the game; that revealed the whole story behind it.

Pretty hard to beat the theme song for Inca. Go to the 50 second mark to hear the theme. It really kicks ass and feels so good. The game itself was weird all hell but I played it for the music.


The most memorable for me. I still have this on my iPod.


Creepy rock song from 7th Guest. I listened to this every day in Grade 8. It's so catchy!


Monolith Burger song from Space Quest III! So good!


Colonel's Bequest had lots of great tunes. This video really picks up after about the 0:50 mark


Lastly, the awesome chiptunes music in Darwinia

Yeah they did a fantastic job with the music. At some points in the game, I would find myself purposely hitting the "revert to last save" button just to hear a part of some of the music again lol.
