So I have my model and I rigged it up with bones. SOme of them use Iks for movement like the legs and arms. However whenever I press alt-a to play the animation i make by moving an IK bone and seting LocRotScale for the frame on all of the bones, Blender crashes. Any ideas why?

BTW Im using version 4.9

I think you mean 2.49, but to answer you question, don't press "alt+a" when animating a rig that you haven't finished yet. Crashes with the IK\FK was fixed in the 2.56 and I think blender's new stable version is 2.57.

Use the timeline to avoid the crashes. Much safer that way unless you wish to upgrade to the new version.

Yeah i meant 2.49, So i just have to drag the green bar to play the Ik animation right? What if I want to play the animation automatically so how can see its actual speed without alt-a?
Ps. Im not upgrading to 2.56 yet because I want to finish some projects in 2.49 first because I know where everything is in 2.49.
