It sounds really good. Generally I like music with a good amount of definition. A lot of Ronald Jenkees's music is a good example of this. So that's my not so knowledgeable input.

Just a note on your previous songs. They tended to have the theme of bass in their lyrics but were mainly high pitch with very little bass.
Having both in the song and using the contrast of the two seems to make more enjoyable songs.
Just my opinion.

Sounds really good though!

What songs did you listen to? I don't recall anything with bass lyrics, or a song that didn't really have bass in it.

The main problem that I find with this song, is the repeating piano note in the beginning. Something about it just sounds off. I think you should possibly try replacing it with a chord of notes, instead of just one note.

Math is like a toilet. They both go in the other direction in Australia.

yes, the rhythm of the beginning part is waaay off.

I think it's an awesome start of a song. It seems like it should have more though!

Tell me if there's a broken link to images in a thread I post, and I'll fix 'em.

I love the intro chord, its well thought out I feel (screw the thinking - music is 100% about FEEL not thought)

I do however feel there is a little more definition and emphasis on the bass missing... think MASS EFFECT 2 or TITAN A.E. or umm something more bass'y perhaps look at the emphasis LOTR uses when in mines of moria ^^

just cant quite put my finger on how I mean...

Nice though

EDIT

oh yeah meant to mention this guy to you before, but I am still recovering from hearing of his... short comings...

It sounds like two notes. A dyad. o_O I think a minor 3rd. I like how the melody is re-represented throughout. It also has nice dynamics.

Reminds me of Secret of Mana's music in some ways.

My green thumb grew the tree my Trojan War horse was crafted from. With roses in our pockets we rally round the tombstones. Ashes to ashes, we all fall down.

You've created a really nice atmosphere there, some of the chord progressions are a bit iffy - but on the whole you've got a really nice foundation. Which plugins / VTSis are you using for this?
