Hey Guys! Been a long time hasn't it? I used to hang out at the FPSC part of the forums.
Anyways, I've been trying to get Install Creator to do something for a project I'm working on, the forums on their website don't have any answers and it's pretty dead over there so no luck in getting an answer over there.
Anyways, I know a lot of people using FPSC use Install Creator to get their programs out there. For weapon addons, characters, scripts etc.
So here's my problem:
I'm trying to create a mod for an old game, after toying around with Install Creator I was able to get the file I want modified to be installed, but to test it on the chance the user wants to uninstall it, it removed the file, with no backup of the original file. Now, a good little geek like me kept a backup of the file in case something went wrong.
Now, in order for this mod to work out, I need to be able to keep a backup of the original file otherwise people who uninstall the modified file won't have the original file to work it, and they're likely going to get mad.
If you could help me out in finding a way to do this, or link me to a file that could really help me, that'd be great!
