I seen this on their job board and I know people here would love a chance to work on this guys projects. I know we dont so team requests here but I think this is worth a exception. This is the guy who makes all of those famous facebook games. So Im sure some talented dev's here would love a chance to work for this guy. Im guessing he uses his own custom engine but just looking for 2D artist on their site most likely. Anyway I think its a great oppertunity for anyone if you can get your foot in the door.

Zynga is a factory... sort of like the EA or Activision of social gaming. If you want to work at a company that relies on copying instead of creating brand new concepts and ideas, then Zynga is right up your alley.

Yeah, i have noticed a frequent pattern of extremely simular games from Zynga, not many of them are original.

Experience is experience though, especially if you have nowhere else to get it.

Not to mention his games make millions so who cares if they rip off his other games. He's making money doing it so he must be doing something right.

I don't really like Zynga. They have about 50 games all identical. Only thing they change is the artwork. So if you're an artist, that's the place to go. Programmers need only change the name of the project folder.

Sweet, I think that matches my programming skills.

As if your computer has the power necessary to change folder names in any case.

Lol ok so lets get real here. Yes we love the games we make but lets be honest guys. Were here to make money as well and we want more then just 5 or 10 people to enjoy a game we make. Personally I want millions to enjoy a game I make. However, it tends to be 5 to 10 people who enjoy my game. So it would be cool to have a chance to work on a pro project and make a game millions would play and view. Just my thoughts.

Totally agreed, but you don't need to rip off other's games to do it, nor do you need to depend on downright unethical design to do it ("Play this every day otherwise all your achievements/stuff disappear" seems to be a running theme in most of their games)

Very interesting talk that is relevant: Jon Blow on the human condition (and Zynga)
