I have thought this myself. Some one may have copped on to the fact that these leaks actually help business. It is the same with those stupid celeb sex tapes. They are put out there for a reason. Also the stupid nude pics. It is all set up me thinks.

No its self narsacist B's doing it because there ethier;

A. Compelete and utter tools.
B. Glorified an hero-tards.

In any case i hope they rot in jail for tearing yet another hole out of a company and further screwing up the industry.

Well theres my child freindly view.

Sorry, by leaked i thought you meant like Crysis 2 and it had been realesed by some jerkoff with a chip on there shoulder.

Yeah there just riling up the public.

It would be a clever tactic. You can get publicity, give the fans something to get excited about, while you don't actually have to deliver any of it because it was a "leak".

Wow, a leak to MW3 must be really damaging

Oh, turns out this installment will have guns in it and shooting.

Woah!

wow, well done on starting the cynicism early.

I had a look at the non-spoiler overviews, looks interesting, and despite the rubbish people say, a trilogy of the same game is fine, and will undoubtedly be fun.

Hopefully they'll build on the previous games' strengths, and fix their weaknesses

as for it being leaked, its sad, I'd agree, luckily it's early in development and only an info leak

I mean no one here is exactly like this:

Yep. This trailer's release totally wasn't related/influenced by the leakage of info.

Edit: And sorry for double post

Don't post images with swearing in them. While swearing is acceptable in many places on the internet, it is not acceptable here.

It was supposed to be a monkey / kangaroo fire-breathing hybrid. And it would be 70 km tall, and keep a giant laser in it's pouch.

I'll be honest, I did think you were talking about MechWarrior 3 initially since that's what showed up in a Google search, and apparently I'm not very familiar with that series and its age.

Anyway, not a big deal, the game will be just more recycled crap like the last one, with a new story. A friend of mine thinks it's good that they "bring one out every year" because apparently he thinks a new story is worth €70 (he's not a multiplayer kind of person).

honestly, It's a Trilogy. It's supposed to follow the same recipe. You can't complain if THREE games are the same

black ops multiplayer was rubbish on PC, seems to have really bad networking code, lots of lag and the multiplayer is fairly boring. Also the AI was pretty awful in single player, saw lots of AI running into walls getting stuck etc and the story line was pretty confusing. So why do people keep buying this game? I think there's plenty of better games out there.

I'm probably going to invest in MW3. I know I criticize Call of Duty a lot, but after the great storyline in Black Ops, my faith has been restored. Multiplayer could still use a major overhaul, however.

I just now realized I've had a typo in my signature for the past 3 years.

I know. Infinity Ward handles the Modern Warfare series, plus generally any game that was ever decent, while Treyarch handles the...not so good ones. They surprised me with Black Ops though.

Heh
I wasn't convinced by what I saw of black ops, especially since they don't seem to want to cut it's price yet

If you get it for PC, it's pretty cheap. On Amazon, and such.

I like Treyarch a lot better. They tend to do more "realistic" gritty-type stuff, while IW handles the super-soldier-action-movie type stuff. Of course, Black Ops fit that description, but it wasn't "lol, Russians" nearly as much as the Modern Warfare games.

Not let the thread about CoD leaking turn to a discussion on CoD despite starting as a discussion on CoD?

Modern Warfare 2 is leaps and bounds better than Black Ops in terms of map design. The only maps I like on Black Ops were "Nuketown" and "Shooting Range".

I don't get why people are bashing the multiplayer. It works really well (on MW2 and BO), and it's fun, so what's the issue? Isn't the point of it just to go online and shoot random strangers? Isn't that the purpose of split-screen as well?

Well as of two months after MW2's release, I have not been able to find a single game on it that doesn't have someone abusing One Man Army and Danger Close. Namely, using it to have an unlimited supply of grenades, rifle grenades and claymores and camping in a building somewhere. Or some 12-year-old running around with a UMP45 with Lightweight, Marathon and Commando to have him lunge ten feet and knife me in the face despite me having put two bullets in him.

Apparently the 360 version is getting a patch but knowing IW it's just to fix incorrect placement of a barrel on some map, which doesn't really affect gameplay at all.

EDIT: Yeah, as I suspected the new patch still isn't fixing OMA tubing. Pretty pathetic if you ask me.

Yes, it is me.

I hate Danger Close. That's not a fun perk.

I've never experienced what you described. I might just be lucky though.

Despite that, IMO MW2's multiplayer was waaay better than Black Ops...mainly cos I'm the guy with the OMA, DC noob tube set up. S' 'n' G's bro
