Hey everybody. I'm going to be getting a graphics card in the next couple of weeks, (Thanks CoZ!) but it requires two six pin power supplies. My PSU only has one. Would it be safe to use a moxel to sixpin adapter for a few weeks until I have the money to buy a new PSU?

My PSU is 700w, so I'm pretty sure it should be able to handle it, but I'd rather have advice from somebody who knows what they are talking about.

Thanks

Yes. Most graphics adapters come with 4 pin Molex to 6 pin connectors. I use one, and I have for almost a year now, and I never had any issues. I'm running on a 550 watt.

I just now realized I've had a typo in my signature for the past 3 years.

Ah thanks, that's really helpful. I will buy a new PSU anyways because mine is a cheap one which is very noisy. Do you mind me asking what PSU you have?
