http://browsershots.org/
I dont know what the word for this is, but basically this guy invented this system where you download an app, and link it to all your browsers. Then your browsers will goto any site requested and take screenshots. All the people who download the apps are contributers.
I went on the site any put in my website name: http://browsershots.org/http://www.guildfreaks.com/ (i did it twice, cos the first time i chose less options).

And what it does is it collects screenshots from all the contributers and uploads them to the webserver, now i can see my website on a huge range of operating systems and browsers that i didnt even know existed.

The only problem is that you get alot of errors with the page not fully loading, and alot of people disable Javascript (but i think you can filter that).

The system is 100% free (but u can pay to get faster service), which is different to similar systems which cost a heap.

[Edit]
I havnt actually seen the open source part, but he claims it.

There was a web site that did this too, just select the browser and OS you wanted and it'd take screenshots for you for the address you provided. Great way for developers to test, especially with IE when you need 6, 7, 8 and can't have all versions installed.
