Beyond Paranormal 2

Developer: chargerbandit

Storyline:
The story goes parallel to Beyond Paranormal 1. You play as a horror movie fanatic caretaker in a company. You come to work your nightshift, but weridly there is no security guard. Not minding that, you go to inside to work your shift because you are already late...
[story will be updated later]

Screenshots:

More screens to come.

Need good constructive criticizm,I won't even read the comments like "Looks cool" and "Good game, waiting for demo" OR "There is not enough to comment"(I will be reporting these in the future)...

As hogan said, theres not a great deal anyone can say on two screens and 2 lines of story.

All browsers should come with compulsory spell checks.

Those doors look out of place. The door trim(?) on the first screen is pitch black and the door style itself doesn't fit in.

...Well, as above, there's not much to it, I do like the Blueish Ambient, and the custom models, the door would need an overhaul tough.

i do like that you are using my Parking Lot Segs.

Keep it up!.

Do not release the demo before you know the peoples idea.
Here are 2 screens from 2 corridor and it's nothing special about a game.
First show us some more screens then we say the designing problems and ideas.
After fixing them release a demo.

Maby it's becouse I'm blind or something, but I jsut saw that there's a room under the pipes. Nice. Will you be roaming there later in the level? I, for some weird reason, love when game designers do this thing, where you go through an area you saw before. I don't know what it is, but I just love it.

But one thing I noticed, that hasn't been said: The lights on the wall look like they're off. Maby apply an illuminationmap on them? I like the word apply. Makes me sound sophisticated (alhto I might have spelled sophisticated wrong XD)

Yes,thanks for noticing. That area is a parking lot underneath,I guess you won't be exploring it,more for the show. Also,I am working on some illumination maps. Heres a reward for ya,room in progress,it's not much but it shows my new ceiling lights with illumination maps.

Looks nice. But I would propably increase the light's range and if necessary after that, I would maby make the hexcode a bit darker? But experiment with it and when you come to something that you really like, then show us what you end up with Looking good, keep it up!

If you talk like this in a community then no one will comment on your posts.

I think you have to fix your behavior before starting game designing.
And remember when your WIP game has made even less than 1% do not start a new thread.Because you have to show us very very very low detailed corridors which gets under 5 minutes for me to make.
You have about nothing to show then do not show.

You're not the only one, I like this as well. I thought Aliens vs Predator (the 2000 Classic version) did this particularly well.

As for the game itself, I like the lighting so far, and I don't care that there isn't a lot of screenshots, I like being teased lol

[edit]Just seen your ceiling light screenshot; I do like it when people using lights that actually look like they're giving out light [/edit]
