Seeing Wolf put out some 3D work has inspired me, so I am starting work on a Sci-Fi Machines Pack.

Please post comments and Crit's.

#1. This is just a piece I have started in order to give me some re-usable parts to use on several other machines.

Okay, no comments or crits. I can understand, these aren't much to look at , at this point.

So I have a question.
What is the best form to save progress so I can go back and forth and adjust things the best.

An example from Henry's Charater Tool Kit:

Is this a pretty good way to stay organized?
Went and looked through what I did last night and it is a nightmare.

matter of opinion really, It depends a lot of how big the project is too.
for a character i tend to have: A folder named, say character now
in it i have: Texture, Model and Highpoly *if any*
in texture I have UVmap and texture, and also texture references
in model i have my model, and also my backups, which i usually call: "characterbckup" or "characterBckup"
highpoly being the same as model.

hope it helps in any way

and for the record, I am a man.

Thanks for the reply Quick.

Hopefully some more models up tonight and \ or the next night. UV mapping and texturing is truning out to be much easier that I had previously thought.
