Well i finally made enough extra cash from the apps I have been developing that I was able to purchase my own inexpensive motion capture equipment. It will take over 1 week for the rest of the equipment I order to get here but lookign forward to trying to capture my own movie. ( while tempted i will not try to remake avatar) So once the set up is complete i will be taking sometime to get to learn it by creating test motions for various actions. So is there anyone out there workign on a game or animation project that would like simple actions.

walking
jumping
acting
running
some fighting actions.

Eventually i will be selling various motion capture data but not until I have completely learned my system and make something of quality.

Cool, how much did it cost and where did you buy it from?

http://www.ipisoft.com/

the reviews said it can produce professional quality work. I've always wanted to mocap my own cinematic for various studios. so I guess I will use this and do it for indie developers until I get enough money to buy a professional studio.
