One of the most interesting short stories I've read. I just wish there was more, very smart and I like the first person view. I think this would make a good chapter 1 for a book

That wasn't too scary.

But it was a great story.

@datajunkie ?.?

I genuinely wish this was a book. I think it would be awesome. or maybe a movie?

I think it was just an surprisingly original bit of fiction and am surprised that nothing in major media has been like this.

Nice read.
God wrecks the earth in 40 days by flooding when all he had to do was take all the water away for 7. I wonder if that message was suppose to come across, because thats what I thought about.

You have to give it credit for its originality. "Drinkers" were a bit over-dramatized but a book would be cool.

I hate zombies and anything that suggests people only do evil things because they are possessed or infected. The truth is that humans will do ANYTHING to survive. It's very easy to have morals when you have everything you need, I think we'd soon find out that everyone is a cannibal if this sort of thing happened.

The cause of the drought could have been better explained and not just "ping! now we have no water!"
