Hi!

Its me again...well, I wanted to write this down somewhere a whole while ago and I just made myself some fresh coffee and got myself to do it. My top 10 dislikes on the internet. Lets say that the internet itself is awesome and I believe it is a vital step in human conciousness evolution. However, it has its downsides...these aren't exactly "downsides"... a downside is a muscle ache after sex or a minor continuity flaw in an epic movie...these are gaping holes of doom. (Please not that this thread is for fun and entertainment, so I won't write about any of the REALLY bad stuff on the web like child pornography etc... please don't do it aswell)

So, here we go

10 Lolcats: Oh hai!I own a cat and I absolutely love cats...but those internet lolcats are really annoying the heck out of me... I mean, who conciders it funny to randomly spam an internet discussion with random cat pictures... most of them aren't even slightly funny (even though they try desperately)... And who was the complete waste of human resource that came up with the idea that lolcats should be presented in retarded grammar? Yes...such cat pictures might have been funny in the early 2000 when the internet became more and more popular and people where happy about an image coming through the 56kb connection. But its 2011 people... grow up! kthxbye!

9 DeviantART Pseudoartists: You know DeviantArt? No? Well, its basically a good idea... a website where artists from all around the world can create an online gallery for their work. Sounds kinda great eh? Well, it used to be but isn't anymore? Why?... I tell you why! Because every 14 year old twat with a pokemonfetish and every caveman that can draw a line in paint can make a profile there and exhibit his art. The staff there can not simply say "this is art, and this is not" so every kind of stuff is allowed there. This includes sexual fantasies with teddybears and humanoid dogs involved (and a scary amount of that!!) and nazi propaganda to the max! Since most of the community is made out of 13 year old kids, the popular artwork reflects... well...pokemon.
So much about artside... hey! I'm overdramatic here, the site has its upsides aswell

8 Ads: They are everywhere...they pop out of nowhere, they dominate your screen in flashing colors and they trie to get you clicking their banner by adding a pretty girl or an obvious "shoot the duck" game.
These always makes me wonder...Who actually really (I mean really) plays these pay per month flashgames or buys these food supplements from obscure websites? Who is playing on these thousands of various onlinepoker servers and who does really believe that all these hot girls presented there come from the 500 people nest 4 miles away from you?

7 Internet Movie Database: You know the feeling of googling an awesome movie and you see that the camelfaces at IMdB only gave it 5 stars? You read through the top 250 Movies of all time and you see that on place 34 they have "Toy Story 3". Ever wanted to lynch someone through the lancable because he gave a horror movie only 1 star because it had "disturbing images" or an exorcist movie a bad rating because it was blasphemical? Well...welcome to the internet movie database. Homeland of unrequested opinions and overrated trash. Pulp Fiction, a movie that has no real plot but a lot of swearing and rants about cheeseburgers is on place 5 of the best movies humanity created... awesome!

6 Internet Slang: Ever had the misfortune of playing one of the recent online shooters? If so, then you might understand the following: "Lol! b00n get of my server you HAX0R!!! I saw u wallhack snipe this lowpinger right after spawnprotection, I'm going 2 pwn u" Well... Onlinegames are flooded with kids these days that are frustrated for some reason if they loose a game or feel like they achieved something if they won. You get a lot of flaming, swearing and fighting and apparently, except you, no one is there to have some fun. I miss the days where I discovered online gaming with Unreal Tournament...the average conversation was more something like "lol, good shot - thank you - where are you from? ...etc."
That was a different athmosphere than in CSS and CoD nowadays.

5 Internet Meme oneliners We all know them. And there is one of them that makes my blood boil in sheer rage everytime I see it. Its this downright retarded "I heard u lik mudkips" ... what on earth? Why oh why? How could someone even think for the blink of a second that this is funny... but the list goes on with random movie quotes, chuck norris jokes, this is sparta, all your base are belonging to us (which is one of the great grandfathers of this crap).

4 World of Warcraft Do I need to say anything more?
From videogame to social desease...and its simply not dying.

3 Facebook: Yeah! Most of you will disagree and throw frying pans on me for that one, but I deeply despise facebook.
You are almost an alien when you meet someone, she asks for your facebook and you say that you dont have a profile...well, she usually asks "why not" in a surprised highpitched tone that tells you that you should have a dang profile there...Well, since you just met that girl you cant exactly say: "I will not give any of my private, personal information to some huge internet company. I will not post anything that personal about me anywhere on the net and I do not want to publicly have a list of people that are connected with me. I remember people demonstrate against the census of population. That was a huge drama back then in germany...Everyone was offended by the thought that the government wanted to know how many televisions you have... and now? We are spreading every single bit of information about who we are, what we like and who we know on a website owned by a private company and shove it down the throat of everyone who wants or does not want to know? Well brilliant people!

But I won't stop my rant here... the site itself is awful.
First, everyone you barely know ads you as a friend. It takes you one week to make 200 + friends on that site...wow! And now lets look into it. You have the fella that writes down everything he does, no matter how trivial and uninteresting it is. The girl that seems to spend her entire spare time with taking pictures of herself in the bathroom (and creepy lonely guys "liking" these pictures...dang great! Have you guys been hitting the pipe? All this subliminal flirting going on there... go and talk to the girl in reality for hecks sake!) The 24/7 depressed guy that is either bored, sad or has a headache. The guy that never talked to you in public and behaves like you where friends for years now seeing each other in the train you use to go to work in... fun times!
Besides, this site has funny games... yeah! People are really spending hours building a cafe or a farm on facebook! Would be my number one reason to be pioneer in the future mars collonialisation program...to get the heck away from facebook.
PLUS!!! here comes the most creepy thing about it. My exgirlfriends are on there...all six of 'em...together... on one and the same site. the horror!

2 Youtube Comments:
Do you believe in humanity? In a sane general public? Well, spend an hour reading youtube comments! We'll meet in the asylum, fella, you are going to beg for a lobotomy. Somehow, 90% of the youtube commenters are either stupid, uneducated cavemen or conspiracy theorists that have been COMPLETELY hitting the pipe. Not to mention all the religious fanatics, the national socialists and all the other extremists on there. I copy from a blog on here, don't worry, I clean up the F Words:

The typical comment thread for a YouTube video starts innocently enough. Say we’re checking out something as harmless as a sneezing panda (20 million people have).

The comments start like this…

surferchick12: LMAO! the mom is like WTH!!!!!!!!111

xXxPokemonxXx: awww look at the baby panda ROFL hahaha LOL

TonyBDaMan: 8===D

It then turns political…

GreenGi2l02: whats so funny about animals in captivity??

Dave-O: Stupid liberals always trying to free lame animals. Eat pandas.

Then a couple off-topic notes…

dancefreak66: The Peruvian government cuts down 1,300 acres of forest every day. Click here to stop them.

lovematenow: You have a secret crush! Paste this message into 8 other comment sections to learn who loves you!

And then it turns ugly…

the_answer3: 9/11 was great day ever. Americans burn with Bush’s actions. Your imperialism will be your end.

Eagleface: shut up you brit. you all have small pen1s and you know it!

ShaFeLeR00: Hang minorities.

1 Selfmade Internetstars We all know them, nothing can stop them... The most popular of them is Justin Bieber. I'm not going to get any further on Justin Bieber... The reviews on this movie (acurate for once) say it all. Worse are those (I won't name people here, just talk about them in general) youtube stars, blogging stars, forum stars etc. that suddenly became famous on the internet... guys! Having a whole bunch of sobbing pubertykids watching you talking random stuff in a high pitched voice does not make you awesome at all. But some of these guys have such a giant ego all fed on their internet popularity...this REALLY annoys me. I don't hate in general, but this kind of people really sends shivers of disgust over my spine.

Thanks for reading

I don't know what b00n is, but the rest made sense, but that is a modedit way to say it.

I quite honestly like WoW. It's a fun game, but I do agree that people treating it as religiously as they do should probably have their PC usage license revoked... after they're implemented ofc.

Quote: "Facebook"

TL;DR but I think neither of us can see any point of it. If you want to show photo's to your friend, go visit them, if you want to talk to them, we have phones etc.

mind explaining more?
Its a wonderfull game to play with friends, raiding is my, or was my favorite part since it was done so AMAZINGLY well, pvp is fine not great, the dungeon design is amazing, the social part wonderfull
enough that is has been dumbed down a lot, to the part where i stopped playing, but then we should blame blizzard for that, not the game...

I too think the site itself is overrated, but you dont dispice the site, you despice not being on the site, and you dont want to, because... well, just because, or atleast thats what i got out of it:

also, the only information about me that i have given out is: my name, my age and my email, which i also made up just so i could join, there isnt even a req for your photo!
you dont even need your real name, or age, or mail.
iam not sure at all what you are complaining about, other than the first point, which was a real point: everyone expects you to have an account, and yes: THAT REALLY REALLY SUCKS.

"The worst of the Internet [Top 10]" LOLOLLOL!!!11!
Thumbs up if you agree!

^ I hate people who post things like this on youtube. Its like the only way they can feel good about themselves is if they have the highest rated comment on some meaningless video. People like that, and the people who say "115 people missed the like button", need to get a life.

If any of you have posted "<number of disliked> + <crap joke>" on a youtube video, then end your "life" now. Do the world a favour.

Well then your homework for tonight is to jump on a spike. Make sure you do it right, as there will be a test on Monday!

The problem with the internet is that people can use it anonymously. While I agree that people shouldn't be able to know who you are on the internet, I don't agree with people's ability to be able to create multiple accounts with websites and cause problems.
I think if there was a way to identify people on the internet, not by name, but by a unique ID (Like a drivers license), then a lot of the crap on the internet would disappear within a few days. Once people are banned, there would be no way for them to get back.

Well "txt spk" evolved from type to chat in fast paced games, and it's alot easier to say "wallbang" than "shoot throguh a wall."

I agree on Facebook, I have a friend cull now and then, keeps it at around 200 people I genuinely know and like.

And I'm amazed you haven't raged at ponies or something, we seem to be the internet lepurs of the 10's era.

This whole internet license thing is actually not a bad idea

Quote: "
mind explaining more?"

Certainly! I believe that games like these have proven to pose a certain danger to minors who get addicted to these. At the age of 12 to 15, a lot of kids are yet developing selfconfidence and a, lets name it social ego. However, a scary lot of them replaces it with a character in world of warcraft.
To continue less semieducated: I don't like the game itself (its gameplay) and the huge amount of "no life" going on there.

No, I actually enjoy the part that involves me not being on the site

I don't hate the internet, but number 11 would be people like me that have too much time on a friday evening and write threads like this

I agree with a couple of the things on here... definately disagree with One though. Selfmade stars, in my opinion, are about as pure as you get, without the internet we wouldn't have Yahtzee or That Guy With the Glasses or Starkid.

I'd say I hate Facebook most of all. Remember when everyone called MySpace the next "big thing?" Well, that turned out to die too. Social network sites only exist to appeal to a mass audience for around 10 years, then just fall off the face of the earth. Facebook is particularly annoying because of its integration with nearly any website you see. Developers need to stop being lazy and devise their own login systems. Yes, people want to be able to login with one account, but I don't want to tie my personal information into a site that is for other things. Not to mention, a friend brought it to my attention that even porn sites have "login with Facebook" and "share this link on Twitter" on them.

I just now realized I've had a typo in my signature for the past 3 years.

@ Wolf:

To #9: Woah I had no idea DeviantART went so bad. I used to look on there when I was bored but I haven't been on there for several years now... I will continue to ignore it.

To #7: I use the Internet Movie Database quite a lot but only for looking up actors in movies/TV shows. I never value anybodies opinion about what's a good/bad show because I generally love the movies people despise (Like Battlefield Earth and Waterworld to name a couple).

To #3: I avoid social networking sites like it's a plague. I know several people that when they get mad at their wife/husband they tell the world on Facebook how much they hate each other, and why, and who's cheating on who. Then of course they make up but the world (family, friends, and strangers) know how stupid and scandalous they are to each other every time they have an argument.

I used to post messages on Digg but came to the same conclusion you got for #2. It's just not worth having a conversation with a closed mind that's rusted shut.

Basically being lvl 50 or higher on WOW means you have no social life, i'd set the standard lower but i have no idea what it goes up to now ;S lvl 70 last time i bothered to engage in a conversation about it.

But yeah Rp a character in a game for £30 a month, where it becomes a vicious cycle of *but ive paid so much already and gotten so far it would be a waste to stop playing now*

Then they make friends on there for subsitute of real ones, become more recided from socialising in person. Well yeah it goes on and on. Its the eqvilent of brainwashing kids and adults into mindscrewed cash cows.

*continues rant for few pages, deletes the Ott amount of words to say WOW is worse the crack addicted babies*

You can tell ive argued about this before XD

I also despise Facebook, if I cared to know what my friends were eating for breakfast, I'd ask them, but I don't care.

The only reason I have a Facebook account is to have at least some kind of tie to my old friends (well, that's not saying a lot, considering I have 15 friends on Facebook) from before I moved, and even then I only use it once every... never.

Anyway, I love reading these lists, reminds me of Cracked.

Gulp...as FFXI is another MMORPG, my character has level 90 (Scholar), level 82 (Corsair) , Level 63 (Dark Knight) and level 58(Puppetmaster) job roles and they're raising the level cap to 95 in August.

But I think with anything it's about moderation, admittedly I've ignored moderation and partied with people until the early hours of the morning, but never let something take over. I know that plenty of people out there lack moderation and hence they become addicts. MMORPGs are a drug really.

I think Facebook can be both a good and a bad thing. It's a brilliant social networking tool - it allows you to keep in touch with friends, even those who you speak to less often and you can see how people are getting on and joke with them. Most of the friends I keep in touch with are people I met at University, so now most of us have graduated, we're kind of spread apart and I think Facebook is useful in that respect. I also have the same people on MSN and a couple on Skype and I think I use whatever is at my disposal to communicate. I don't think it should replace anything social, rather it should aid it. Only very lucky people I've met on the Internet will have access to my Facebook and they're in the minority, so if you're one of them, well I bet you feel special now! Facebook and Twitter are also good marketing tools, I know Storytellers who use Facebook as a means of marketing themselves - I did set up my own Facebook page for my own performances, but have done nothing with it. The Storytelling Group I used to run managed to acquire some amazing contacts through Facebook, but sadly it fell apart once I passed it on to other people.

Lolcats had their funny moments, but a joke can only be funny so many times. And I am a little facetious when it comes to Internet slang, even though I feel dirty everytime I say "lollercopter" even though it's use is for mocking those who use it. If "OMGZ IZ HAXX0RZ U LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!11111oneoneone" is ever used in a serious context, Xena help us all. Deviant Art seems to more or less to be a place for manga art these days, I think manga art can be really good, but normally it isn't too special and of course, you do have the 13 year old boys on there.

But everything else, I'm with you.

I have "flagged for spam" many times on youtube and am still to receive my spam!

I don't like the pointless over-communication on the internet, like "John: Is making a sandwich" "Bryan likes this!" who cares? You would never phone someone to tell them you're making a sandwich, you wouldn't even tell someone in the next room, so why broadcast it to the world? And can't anyone JUST LIKE something without having to click a button that says like on it and tells the world they like it?

Facebook will enable something really bad to happen in the future, no good can come of so much personal information floating around. It's like when the Nazi's used the census to track down Jews.

You seem very angry about all of the things you listed, but I think you're mostly overreacting .

10) LOLCATS
Annoying? Overused? Yes, but if you're not on 4Chan then they really aren't that prevalent anymore, especially in forums, and if you see one all you have to do is scroll past it, problem solved.

8) Ads
I'll agree with you here, ads are very annoying. BUT I realize their importance in keeping many websites free to use. Pop-ups are really what get me though, if you're going to have ads, you should not have them cover the content in any way, that means I will immediately close it without even looking at the ad.

7) IMDB
It's the same for any review site for any product. People are going to have different opinions. If you want a better indication of what more people think, go to Rotten Tomatoes where it aggregates many reviews into one score. (But I do agree, Pulp Fiction is probably one of the worst movies I've ever seen, and I can't figure out why it's so highly rated).

6) 1337SPEAK
Yes, typing like a 12 year old is annoying, but I can understand abbreviations in games in some situations because typing takes time, and it's easier to quickly type something like "brb" than "be right back".

5) Internet Jokes
Quote: "And there is one of them that makes my blood boil in sheer rage everytime I see it."

Haha, I don't understand why that could make you so furious. They're just jokes. It's like internet culture. Some of them I find funny, some of them are just stupid, but I don't get angry when I see one that is stupid. Why should that make me angry? What do I care if someone else finds something funny that I don't? And how does that affect me or my experience in any way?

3) Facebook
Okay, this response will probably be as long or longer are your complaint, so prepare yourself .

First, I don't understand all of the hatred for Facebook, not only from you but from many other people. It's an excellent tool for connecting and keeping in touch with people. Yes, I can keep in touch with people I know through phone or email or other methods, but maybe I don't have time to do that for the 150 people's lives I'm interested in . There are many reasons Facebook is great.

Say something important happens like someone getting married, having a child, moving, getting a job, etc. and you want to inform people, then it's a good way to broadcast that to people you know without individually telling every single person that you think might be interested.

Maybe you met a cute girl or nice guy (or vice-versa if you're a girl) and had a good connection with them and want to know more about them, but aren't sure you want to ask for a phone number yet, Facebook is perfect for that. If you see they have similar interests then that saves a lot of time you'd have to spend looking into that and trying to connect again otherwise, if you find otherwise, then you don't have to add them.

Maybe someone wants to share their pictures from a vacation or pictures of a new house or some cool event they went to (I know I'm interested in seeing stuff like that from most people I'm Facebook friends with). Yes there are people that post their every move or take and upload photos of everything, but that's what the hide button or de-friend buttons are for. Problem solved.

As for the privacy, I don't understand that either, it sounds like some New World Order conspiracy theory. Firstly, there are privacy settings that allow you to control what the public can see. Yes, Facebook can see whatever they like, I'm sure, but really, who cares? What are you afraid of? Them suddenly turning into an evil corporation and using Facebook to track everyone down and implant a chip in your brain? The worst thing they would realistically do is cater ads to your interests, which doesn't bother me - the ads will be there regardless, who cares if they're geared towards my interests? You are one of several hundred million people on the site, why would they care about you any more than the other 700 million?

As for the games, same deal as annoying friends/acquaintances - hide them and don't play them. It's really not that big of a deal.

I know literally two people under the age of 25 that don't have a Facebook, and I think people who don't are missing out. They're missing out on an easy way to maintain connections with people, make and keep new connections faster and more easily, and a fast and easy way see what's happening in the lives of people they're interested in. In 10 minutes, I can see what many of my friends and family have been up to and what is going on in their lives without having to contacting each of them individually. And no, in no way does it replace interacting with people in real life or keeping up more constantly and personally with closer friends and family, but it does make connecting socially much easier and more efficient. And there's MY Facebook rant .

Anyways, it seems like you're too easily angered by and reactive to little things that really don't matter or affect you in any reasonable way .

EDIT: Oops, forgot to cover #1 and #2, I'll write that up and edit again.

Here they are:
2) YouTube Comments
I agree with you here, anonymity makes people say things they would never say otherwise, and on YouTube for some reason it's often more prominent than many other sites.

1) Selfmade Internetstars
Really? People that make success for themselves online annoy you? I don't like Justin Beibers music either, but how is he any different than Backstreet Boys or NSYNC or Avril Lavigne or any other teen-pop band that didn't become famous from YouTube? And again, why does his popularity matter to you or affect you? And you're ignoring all of the great internet stars. I've recently become a big fan of YouTube video makers (like FreddieW or Corridor Digital or WongFu Productions) and music artists (which I won't post because a) there are too many, and b) I don't want to start an argument on whether their music is actually good or not ). I think this is actually one of the best things that has come from the internet - the ability for anyone to make, share, and market their own things without all of the middle men or overhead of commercializing things.

Why does everybody hate WoW, I don't get it. I love playing it, I like the world the game is set in. What about prestige 10 COD players, or minecraft players who are having wars in them, or people that watch my little pony, nolife too? I don't think so. I have friends, and I have a 85 character on WoW ( not best I know ), I watch my little pony, and I have actual wars in minecraft. I can't stand people who start ranting about people playing WoW not having a social life, since WoW is actually a better place to get social than those so called social websites ( facebook ) where everybody just annoys you with stupid games like farmville. I'm in a guild, I've gone to the cinema with some guild members who also lived in Holland and I have more fun with those people than with some of the people that consider me their friend in real life.

Iso, I thought what we had was special.

Anyone who no-lifes a game is sad, end of. WoW just seems engineered to breed no-lifing, that's my personal argument against it.

I'm saying watching my little pony isn't nolife, neither is WoW or COD or whatever you can do. If you get addicted to WoW and shut yourself off from the entire world, than it's your own fault and if WoW wasn't there, you would have gone to guildwars or COD or any other game. It's certain people, and since WoW is the most fun of all the games that you can grind ( It's hard to get nolife on pong xD ) or the most easy one, it's where they all end up

Its never the services/games themselves that people dislike, its the people who use them.

My brother is always going on about how much he hates facebook, but for every reason he gives me to why, its the fault of the person using it and not the service itself.

I don't dislike the internet, I just hate some of the people that are for some reason allowed to access it.

You are a supreme weirdo if you truly did not like Pulp Fiction. That is definitely one of the movie greats. I personally hate Tarantino (however his name is spelled) but Pulp Fiction is a classic.

To me, IMDB is hands down the most frequent website I use. The ratings can be incredibly retarded, but you can't blame the site itself for that... blame the idiots on the website.

I've been on DeviantArt for over 10 years!

As for IMDB, it's a great website. As for the ratings, most of those newer movies (like Toy Story 3) are only on the top 250 for a short while, then they'll gradually fade out of existence as the real movies go back to the top. It's a user rating system, it's up at the top because majority said so.

LOl Wolf, I enjoyed reading that! You should write a whole series of them, they're quite entertaining, even if we don't agree with everything you say!

The most annoying thing on the internet IMO, is the people on youtube, or any other site that requires comments to be written, who feel the compulsion to write "first", as if it's some hugely impressive achievement to be the first to comment! They don't even have anything relevant to say about the item they're commenting on.

First.

To me, this is the most annoying thing on the internet... Even more annoying when the first 10 or so posts are all "First" and nothing else is added to their post. Well done for being the first person to see something and comment on it, here is a medal...

10: Agreed.

9: I can't say I've ever actually visited DeviantART so I don't know.

8: I understand the need for them, but really. Do they really need to make them so annoying? And do they ever actually work on people? The last thing I want to do when I see an ad is buy the product it's trying to sell.

7: Never even heard of the site until now.

6 & 5: Agreed.

4: I personally don't like the game, I think it's really boring and repedative. However, I don't really find people who like it annoying. It's just their opinion.

3: I HATE FACEBOOK. I hate it when people ask me if I have an account there, I hate it when every damn site I go to links to it, and I even hate the very idea of it. If an adult wants to go on there and give away all of his personal details, that's just his own bad decision. But what really pisses me off is that so many kids go on there and do the same. Children don't have the amount of experience in the world necessary to make an informed decision on whether to post this kind of personal information on the internet.

It's much like statutory rape. Children don't have the ability to make an informed decision on whether they want to have sex or not, so to do such a thing to a child is still rape regardless of the child's willingness.

So it's not the child's fault if he posts compromising personal information on Facebook or sites like it, he's just a child following his nature. Children do stupid things. It's the web site's fault for encouraging him to do so.

Anyway, back to the other points:

2: I don't know who could disagree with this.

1: I'm not sure this problem is restricted to the internet. There's always been the hacks who become famous through some unfortunate circumstances.

So, Wolf, while I do agree with many of your points, I'm not sure anything can or should be done about it. Since human nature is what it is, and since the internet is the most unrestrained expression of the human mind there is (which is something that should NOT change), we're bound to develop good things as well as the trash that accumulates around it. So I actually think it's fortunate that we have "garbage can" sites like Youtube and 4chan to collect the trash and keep most of it away from good sites, like The Game Creators.

I guess I have to practice english first a bit more...you see, a lot of people already took me too serious here and my sarcastic jokes are nothing in english

@Herakles: Yes! thats true! I saw a lot of my younger friends posting half naked pictures of themselves or themselves drunk on parties while they did not yet reach the age of 18. This could have consequences...and for some of them it had. I believe that facebook grow way too powerful and, (I red New World Order around here somewhere) but seriously, I don't trust this website.

My post was ment in a more humorous than serious way, so I don't believe that anyone should take actions against it either.

That was the point Its supposed to be satyrical. I appear not to be advanced enough in english language to do it, I fear.

It doesn't!

Quote: "Anyways, it seems like you're too easily angered by and reactive to little things that really don't matter or affect you in any reasonable way"

In fact, I'm not... its just ment to be comedy. I would have some serious growing up to do if I would get angry about stuff that happens on the internet. I have never been a serious person...I am not serious at all because life itself is not serious. It is so playful, so full of song and so full of music and so full of subtle laughter. It has no purpose; it is not business-like. It is pure joy, sheer dance, out of overflowing energy... yeah, I'm not going to give you the buddhist monk here. I agree to most of your points.

Quote: "Really? People that make success for themselves online annoy you?"

Not at all...I would annoy myself then.
Talented people can get viewers online. Maybe they do what they do as a hobby and could have never reached any audience without the web...this is downright awesome. However, the most important characteristik of a great man is modesty.
Watch this video to know what I ment with that.

@Redneck Rambo:

Yeah! Pulp Fiction is a great movie to watch with some friends and beer and to quote from whenever it doesn't fit at all...

but the 5th best movie ever?
