Sometimes my computer just stops, usually during a video game and the screen is the same, just as if someone's paused my computer.

Can you recreate the issue with different games or is it just one game? Could it be because of any programs you're running?

Don't know. It's every game, Farmville (not me), Assassin's Creed.

When this happens, restart the computer and check the temperatures in the BIOS, and post your results here. It sounds like it could be overheating.

Try that, but it's also not a bad idea to have CPUID Hardware Monitor running while your computer is on.

400mhz is a very slow speed for ddr2, or am i completely wrong?
