Hello everyone, just a quick question, I wanted to order both volumes but when I did the shipping calculation, it came out to $90!!! That's insane! I want to know where it ships from, I have ordered here before and it only costed me 5$ now 90$ I don't think they weight THAT much do they?

Pluto. Or the UK, whichever is closest.

If you can tolerate reading PDFs, look into getting the digital versions. No shipping.

Yeah, they are pretty heavy together. The price of post has gone up so much that it's expensive to post even the lightest of things.

They come from the UK, last time I heard there was no US company printing them.
I've had to reinforce my shelving to hold them, they are your typical programming manual size.

If I ever made a manual it'd have ring bindings like the original Darkbasic Pro manual so it can be laid flat. Those books look like they'd be difficult to work with.

ah ok, thanks grog.. I don't like my stuff being shipped from far places anyway though. And I think it should come with the ring bindings. I love those things
