Wow it looks great!

Making someone's day a little better because of one of my models means a lot to me.

Looks great! - nice clean model from the looks of it. Would be good to see a FPS view too of course.

Man, why is almost everyone on this board better than me

This is a fine model, pal! Clean, detailed and well executed!
The polycount is remarkable aswell.

Is it a remington?

Ok here's a FPS view. Ignore those dark spots, they're just smoothing errors and won't show up after texturing.
Thanks for the positive feedback!
@Wolf I don't know what gun this is, I just googled "hunting rifle" and found reference images.
Do you think that the barrel needs more polys?

Unwrapping. If you would compare modeling to getting married, unwrapping most certainly is the divorce

That was kinda flat, wasn't it? To add something useful: Its a winchester rifle.

Got a question, what kind of wood should I use for the stock and body textures?

Your signature has been erased by a mod - The combined size of both images exceeds the max image size (600x120)

Looks solid colored and cartoony. No wear and tear or any sign of use. The metal looks a little too perfect. The wood looks fine though.

Still looks pretty good though.

So I added a little more "wear and tear" AJ Schaeffer said. Here's what I got:

Here's a Fps view.
