R2D2 in that he's a futuristic swiss army knife, goes on spacewalks and can fix spaceships, is blue, isn't golden, knows when to shutup, and tazers ewoks.

Most awesomely, he has a midget trapped inside at all times.

You must have one heck of a girlfriend if a little beeping can and a golden scrappuppet make you think of her.

I dislike both designs personally.

C3PO is simply so retro in design that it almost hurts.

R2D2 looks like a creation of a robot obsessed pal I have. He builds them in his garage and I doubt that people who have mastered space travel would manufactor something in ... the can design that communicates in beepin noises.

On an additional line: I don't like star wars.

That was deliberate, Lucas was heavily influenced by Art Deco in his designs for Star Wars
