Please read the whole post before trying.

http://homestarrunner.com/

This site is about various cartoony creatures that star in various fun and humorous 'toons' made by three people called the Chapman brothers. (Plus one's wife does one of the people's voices) I honestly can't get many people to like HR because if you got into it early on, everything else is like a huge reference/inside joke/whatever. So fans are waiting for updates when others don't get the new stuff. Anyway, one of the Chapman brothers had a baby with his wife, the one who does that one voice. They therefore had to stop updates for about 6-8 months. They then shocked the world with a April Fool's toon, last year. Then again they shocked us with two Christmas, or as they call it Decemberween, toons and have since been silent. On a Formspring account someone said that the Chapman brothers were getting lower and lower store sales, and less page views. So they are getting lazier and lazier with this hobby and getting more intense with their own lives. So I am making it my life mission to get them popular so they will start again. So please try it, and you should probably go near the bottom of the toons page, plus there's a "First time?" introduction video that at the end links you to some classics. You also may have heard of their pc/wii game, plus lead character Strong Bad was in that Poker Night at the Inventory game. Will you try it? Did you like it? Are you already a fan?

I've seen it, and I like it! I've just forgot about it. Stinks that they're stopping. They had a pretty good idea going on there. I may watch some episodes sometime, it all really depends on what I'm doing at the time. Are they just stopping because popularity has dropped, or because they have to take care of their new lifestyle with the baby and such? And, how do you know all this???

If this is the end they've had such a good run. Homestar Runner was there at the beginning. I've got lots of good memories watching those videos. I'm gonna start visiting more often at least to catch up on what I've missed. Hopefully they can get back to working on new content someday!

Yeah, the made an April Fools '10 and a Christmas '10 toon. And I'm surprised there are so many fans. And it's not that old, I mean they started at about '03 but they spiked in popularity about '07. I know this because there's friends of them on Formspring, Twitter, and also some basic predictions. The baby might have something to do with it, but they did say they aren't making much profit from it, so they need a real job now.

Did you recently watch that or are you a long time fan.

Just wondering, because all the new Trogdor stuff (well newer) is much more hilarious once you've seen the original.
