TF2 Its free. get it now. That is all.

But yeah get steam and look at the offers the spew out. They normally have weekly offers on games for stupidly low prices along with once in a while bundle packs of games.

It's terribly written, unfunny, and boring.

Only a 12 year old who's still scared of swearing in front of their mommy would truly enjoy it, sorry.

I'm gunna go play my manly TF2 again. Newday sure is busy.

What? I thought there were some really funny lines in the game. My favourite being "I named him Waggleton P. Tallylicker but I never got the chance to tell him *sniff*. He will be remembered."

The main story was ok, but echoes mode was awesome. Replaying the levels trying to increase your score by perfoming better skillshots or finding a better run of skillshots.

What exactly is TF2? It sounds interesting! And what's wrong with people that don't like cussing infront of their mother's? It's worse if you do it both ways. Scared to cuss infront of your parent so you cuss when away. And just cussiong anyways showing absolutely no respect. (Not meaning to make offense or anything).

Team Fortress 2, it's a fun game that was recently made free to play on Steam, I recommend you get it. I can't really explain it, other than, it's awesome, and you should go download it.

Well that actually made me laugh. Not because it is great comedy, but because it is so ridiculous that it made me chuckle.

Recently I have found myself enjoying games that are not getting the best reviews and not enjoying games which are receiving high praise. Obviously there are still highly reviewed games which I enjoy but it does seem to be becoming a smaller list.

I'm also finding myself less inclined to want to finish a lot of games. My pile of shame is rapidly growing.

I would currently recommend L.A. Noire to anyone who will listen. I enjoyed the story, I liked how everything tied into together. Some of the interrogation did seem a little illogical to me but it never spoiled my enjoyment of the game. I would say, though, that people need to buy the DLC before they start the main game as it really is just cut from the story.

I'd also recommend Trapped Dead. Although if you've had enough of the whole zombie thing it probably isn't the game for you.

Well, some a game i'd reccomend would probably be Battlefield Bad Company 2. it's story is pretty intense, the multiplayer is awesome, completely destructable enviroments (blowing holes in walls), Large multiplayer maps, great graphics, realism is off the charts, and a great online community. That game, in my opinion, is alot better than all of the CODs.

A list of games you shouldn't miss:

The Chronicles of Riddick

The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind / 4: Oblivion (morrowind is more important...it will teach you a lot also as a game designer)

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Series (you can let out clear sky)

The Hitman series (if you have any sense for dark humour)

The Splinter Cell Series

Call of Duty 4 was great

Thief Series

American Mc Guees Alice

Final Fantasy 7

C-13 Final Resistance is another oldie I really liked

F.E.A.R and F.E.A.R. 2 (the expansion packs are not necessary, you wont miss anything)

Doom³

Penumbra Black Plague

Amnesia

My games (I had to )

Dragon Age Origins

The Prince of Persia Games

Baldurs Gate

Gothic / Gothic II

Deus Ex

The wheel of time

Assassins Creed and 2

Prey

Mass Effect and 2

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic

Call of Ctuhlu : Dark Corners of the Earth

Don't listen to him... he watches pink ponies. Just kidding just kidding.
But seriously, Bulletstorm was a decent game. It's far from a purchase for me but I was glad I rented it. The dialogue is so outrageous you can't help but laugh. All the dick killing was hilarious IMO.

If I was to recommend a couple games though... they would have to be the obvious Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2. They are the TWO BEST GAMES EVER MADE IN THE HISTORY OF EVER. If anyone disagrees I'll punch your mother in her armpit and throw her off a balcony. Dragon Age 1 and 1 ONLY is a very awesome game as well.

If you don't mind playing original Xbox games (or ps2 for that matter) Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 1 and 2 are absolutely amazing. In fact, once every year I playthrough Dark Alliance 2. (Just beat it about a month ago again.) Hunter: The Reckoning is amazing as well. But don't bother actually playing four player (not because it isn't fun... in fact, it's far more fun that playing lonesome of course. It's because you will never beat it. It's physically impossible it's so damn hard.) Also, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 are absolutely in the top 10 best games ever made, (1 being far better than 2 however.)

So here's a lil list in case you don't want to read lol
Mass Effect - Third best game in the history of mankind
Mass Effect 2 - THE best game in the history of mankind
Dragon Age: Origins - Best fantasy/medieval era RPG of all time
Dark Alliance 1 & 2 - Best Hack n slash coop games of all time
Hunter: The Reckoning - Crazy zombie hack n slash that's a blast.
Gears of War 1 & 2 - Best third person shooter games ever (under mass effects)
Star Wars: KOTOR 1 & 2 - KOTOR 1 is the SECOND best game of all time, number 2 is a worthy sequel
Halo 1, 2, 3, Wars, and Reach - Hey, I loved them lol.
Sacred 2 - Though I wouldn't say I really liked this game... I sure as hell put some heavy hours into it lol.

And of course, who could forget...

Portal 1
Portal 2

That would be the list of my favorite games you should look into.

If you haven't played Thief, I suggest it. Though unless you're already a fan, you won't want to deal with the trouble of making 1 and 2 work in XP or higher. Thief3 I have yet to try in Win7 but works just fine in XP.

Battlefield Play4Free...

It's battlefield 2, but free, and paid upgrades. But the paid upgrades are not too bad. If you like the idea of defining yourself a role and sticking to it, then it can be a lot of fun. I am a sniper, so I bought a good SVG for about $4 and spend most of my time covering and backing up other players. There is nothing more fun, than sniping a helicopter pilot in the face then watching the chopper plummet.

Dirt3 is pretty decent, if you like varied driving games, lots of different events and stuff.

I can't get into TF2 - not on the xbox, and not on the PC - for me it's too fast paced... I like FPS games where self preservation is a good idea, and running in hoping that a medic has your back is not my idea of fun. I probably haven't given it enough time, but really I think I'll leave that for people who know how to play it properly.

And Brotherhood? Brotherhood had to be the best one, although it was a bit too much like 2, but the multiplayer addition made up for all what went wrong in Brotherhood. It has a REALLY long story too, extremely in depth, (if you've played the second one, you need to find 'the Truth' puzzles, they are very cool) though i would think ezio should've shown some wear since he was well into his 50s and should not been able to climb as well as when he was younger.

Hey, hey, hey. Let's not bring my love of an awesome show over here.

I did enjoy Bulletstorm, but it's replay value wasn't alot to shout about IMO. So that's why I steered away from recommending it to the OP. The jokes are pretty funny, but not twice.

To add to the Bulletstorm thing, I hated that game... never laughed once at it. Glad I played it at a friend's house.

Now, to the games I recommend...
CoD: Black Ops (Single Player was amazing)
Dragon Age: Origins
KotOR 1 and 2 (the second would have been better if it wasn't rushed by LucasArts)
Star Wars: Republic Commando (First game I played online a lot, and I still love it)
HL2 (I didn't like HL1)
HL: Blue Shift (I don't know why people don't like it)
Rock Band is a great party game
Mass Effect 2-- the first one was only "Okay" to me.
Mount & Blade: Warband
Sid Meier's Pirates! Live the Life
Audiosurf
Poker Night at the Inventory is fun in the wee hours of the morning
CoD2: Big Red One
CoD2
BF 1942
Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Mysteries of the Sith

Cheesehead for life.

pretty sure bulletstorm isnt about funny jokes but mere killing, for the kind of people that enjoyed serious sam and painkiller, those kind of people will probably enjoy bulletstorm.

Anyways, I was referring to Counter Strike's "Terrorists Win". In this case Quik was the "Counter-Terrorist" and we were the "Terrorists" but since you said yourself is good then we won. Hence then "Terrorists win"

Haha was just messing with ya.

And I completely agree that bulletstorm had no replayability. But if someone was looking for a time killer to goof around with, bulletstorm is a perfect rental IMO. Whether you like all the dick killin' or not, the creative point/killing system should at least be somewhat entertaining to most.
A lot of people moaned about the terrible story line, but that really baffled me because I fully enjoyed it. The main girl in it was an awesome female video game character. It wasn't any epic story by any means, but I thought it had great character development. I have a hard time listening to anyone that complains about a story in a game though anyways... but that's because I've heard idiots say Mass Effect 1 and 2's story line is, "cliche and overly done." I have a hard time fighting the urge to punch someone who doesn't like Mass Effect's story. Fortunately there are only a small few who didn't like the story.

I didn't care for Bulletstorm whatsoever at first. In fact, I played for an hour, pushed away and said, "pretty gay." Waited until the next day to pick it up, and play straight until it was finished lol.

Errrr, but enough about Bulletstorm since this isn't a Bulletstorm thread lol.
